Yungblud’s 2025 MTV VMAs outfit is turning heads.
The singer-songwriter, 28, rocked ultra low pants that hung far down below his hips when he hit the event’s red carpet at the UBA Arena in New York on Sunday, Sept. 7.
Making a major statement upon his arrival, Yungblud — born Dominic Richard Harrison — showed up wearing a long coat (with no shirt underneath it) which he removed while posing for photos.

The “Hello Heaven, Hello” singer then posed shirtless on the red carpet in his pants that were held up by a coordinating belt with a large silver buckle.
“I’ve actually got Iggy Pop’s leather pants on,” Yungblud told Nylon. “Richard [Stark] from Chrome Hearts said if you can fit in them you can wear them.”
His coat, meanwhile, was created by “Jesse Jo, my love,” he said, referring to his girlfriend, Jesse Jo Stark, who also walked the red carpet. The pair rekindled their romance after a five-month break in early 2025.

Thanks to his topless look, the artist’s torso tattoos were on full display, including the major skull and cross that runs parallel to his right hip.’
The rocker completed his look with various pieces of jewelry, including a cross given to him by Ozzy Osbourne and a chain. He also wore several rings and bracelets as well as a single hoop earring in his right ear.
He wore his hair slicked back save for a few strands that hung down in his the side of his face. He completed the look with his signature a fully-lined smoky eyes.
Yungblud is performing at the 2025 MTV VMAs as part of a special tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne, who died at age 76 on July 22.
“They’ve asked me to pay tribute to you at the @vmas on Sunday night. I’ll try my best to do you proud Oz. Tune in from up there. I love you forever,” the artist captioned an Instagram post days ahead of the event.
In addition to Yungblud, the Black Sabbath rocker will be honored with a performance of his greatest hits featuring Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Nuno Bettencourt.

LL Cool J makes his return to the VMAs stage as host of the buzzy award show.
Lady Gaga, who is slated to perform during the night, is the most nominated artist of the night, for 12 awards, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Album, among otheres. She’s followed by the likes of Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, ROSÉ and Sabrina Carpenter.
Other notable nominees include Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Charli xcx, Bad Bunny, Doechii, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Miley Cyrus and Tate McRae.
