A$AP Rocky is bringing the chaos of punk rock to his latest music video.
On Monday, Jan. 5, the rapper and actor premiered the first release from his forthcoming album Don’t Be Dumb called “Punk Rocky,” along with its corresponding music video.

On the track, which veers more breezy indie-rock, Rocky (born Rakim Mayers), 37, sings on the chorus, “I wanna fall in love, don’t want no broken heart / Don’t wanna grow apart (Take me back) / I wanna fall in love, don’t want no broken heart / Don’t wanna grow apart (Take me back).”
In the accompanying visual, co-directed by Rocky, Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Becks, Rocky and his friends have a chaotic garage jam session, which brings out the neighbors.

While they’re rocking out, their neighbor, played by Winona Ryder, brings them cookies and dances with Rocky and a raging meathead attempts to get rid of the A$AP Mob frontman and his pals.
Per a press release, the video features Danny Elfman, Thundercat, and A$AP Nast, and brings five out of six of Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb alter egos to life with Rocky himself portraying GR1M, Tommy Revenge as RUGAHAND, Thoto as BABUSHKA BOI, the Williams twins as SHIRTHEAD, and DUMMY appearing alongside them.
Rocky, sporting a swollen eye and pink rollers, ends up arrested and taken to jail with his friends. However, someone posts their bail and the party is able to continue.
But the “Sundress” artist attempts to get revenge on the aforementioned tattling neighbor, chasing him down and firing several gunshots his way, which leads to him once again ending up in handcuffs in the back of a cop car.
But he isn’t stuck there too long — Rocky uses a lighter, which triggers his escape from police custody.
Rocky’s first full-length release Don’t Be Dumb is due Jan. 16.
Last month, Rocky unveiled the cover art for his forthcoming album on Instagram.
“SORRY 4 THE WAIT DON’T BE DUMB FINALLY HERE!” he captioned the post of the cover art at the time.
He continued, “THANKS TIM BURTON FOR HELPING ME MAKE THIS MOVIE! COMING SOON”

Rocky then revealed the album would drop on “National Nothing Day,” which falls on Jan. 16.
According to the latest press release release, the album’s cover art was created by Tim Burton in collaboration with Rocky and features six of his signature personas.
Back in February 2025, Rocky told GQ his fourth studio LP was in the midst of being mixed and mastered.
