Federal prosecutors have alleged Combs sex trafficked Jane and his former longtime girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura
Combs’ attorneys have vehemently denied he has sex trafficked anyone and have said any sexual encounters were consensual
A former girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs testified at his federal trial that he once grew upset after he learned that she had watched a man and woman having sex in a hotel room in the presence of another rapper with whom he is very close.
The woman, who testified under the pseudonym “Jane,” said in court Thursday, June 12, during cross examination that in January 2024, while she and Combs were broken up, she and a friend traveled on a private plane with a rapper to celebrate the birthday of the rapper’s girlfriend. Jane dated Combs from 2021 until his arrest in September.
Teny Geragos, one of Combs’ attorneys, did not name the rapper but described him as an “icon in the music industry” with whom Combs had recorded music and as someone who is “very close” with Combs. Jane agreed with those characterizations.
While on the trip, Jane previously testified that she went with a group to a play, dinner for the girlfriend’s rapper, a strip club and then a hotel room, where people were gathered around watching a man and a woman having sex. The man was a male escort who had been a regular participant in “hotel nights,” drug-fueled marathon sex sessions with Jane and Combs, Jane testified. Jane said about seven or eight people were in the hotel room.

Jane said she and the rapper exchanged “flirtatious banter,” and that he told her he thought she was beautiful and that he had always wanted to have sex with her. She said she didn’t recall exactly when but she flashed her breasts while dancing.
Jane acknowledged that the rapper and his girlfriend asked her if she “knew anybody else in the lifestyle” and told her that “they were looking for someone.” Geragos questioned why they asked her whether she knew anyone who was in the lifestyle. Jane said she suspected they believed that she and Combs had been doing similar things.
She said she recommended a man who had participated in hotel nights with her and Combs.
In June 2024, after she and Combs reconciled, about a month after CNN aired parts of hotel surveillance footage that showed Combs beating, kicking and dragging his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016, Jane said Combs learned about the Las Vegas trip and grew upset.
“He said, ‘How could you go to another man’s freak-off?'” Geragos asked Jane on Thursday.
“Yes,” Jane said.
Prosecutors allege that for years, Combs forced Jane and Ventura, who testified for four days in the trial’s first week, to participate in the sex sessions with male escorts. The sexual encounters are a central part of the government’s case. Ventura testified Combs called the encounters “freak offs.” Combs’ attorneys have vehemently denied he coerced anyone into sex. They have said Jane and Ventura willingly participated in the sex sessions.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
