NEED TO KNOW
It’s officially time to bid farewell to Love Island USA season 7.
On Monday, Aug. 25, the season 7 reunion aired on Peacock and saw the cast come back together and address the drama that has unfolded since they left the Fiji villa last month, give fans an update on their relationships and brought some exes face-to-face for the first time.
The reunion was full of surprises — some good, some bad — and offered new insights on the remaining couples from the villa.
Here’s a rundown on where the islanders stand now.

The season 7 winners made things exclusive during their final date in the villa, but had yet to put the girlfriend-boyfriend label on things. Then, shortly after their exit from Fiji in July, rumors circulated that Bryan had cheated on Amaya after videos of him out with other women emerged.
“They’re trying to just throw any hate my way,” Bryan said of the allegations at the reunion.
“The hosting, I got paid to be there,” he continued, claiming the “cheating video” came from an event where he was hired to appear. “I used to bartend back in the day. I had a lapse in judgement, and we’ve talked about it.”
Host Andy Cohen questioned what his “lapse in judgement” was, to which Bryan responded: “Pouring shots around, getting the crowd shots and stuff like that.”
“I’m also not a woman that would be with someone who doesn’t respect me,” Amaya added. “So if I’m with him and still with him currently, it’s because the relationship dynamic is healthy and great.”
Speculation about a possible breakup surfaced hours before reunion aired, though, as fans noticed that Amaya and Bryan had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Amaya’s TikTok activity was another hint at a possible split, as her recent reposts included posts about feeling “disappointed but not surprised” and a desire to not let her “walls down” again.
Nic and Olandria

The fan-favorite couple, who only started seriously exploring their romantic connection later in the season after Cierra Ortega’s exit, finished the season in second place.
In an interview with PEOPLE days after leaving the villa, Nic admitted that he was Olandria’s “secret admirer from day one,” while Olandria said that she felt an immediate spark with Nic when they kissed in Soul Ties during Casa Amor, but she opted not to act on the feelings — until she did.
“The one moment that I did make a decision for me was the best decision I could have ever made, and made my whole experience way better,” she said of giving into her feelings and coupling up with Nic.
During the reunion episode, the duo shared that they are taking the relationship at their own pace despite what the public wants to see from them.
“There’s been a lot of pressure,” Nic admitted. “And up to this moment, I know that people are expecting us be labeled by now. And I also see comments like, ‘She better be pregnant and married to the reunion.’ We’re like, ‘Damn. Hold up, wait a minute.'”
“We’ve always been believers in taking our time with things and not letting outside pressure dictate our relationship,” he added. “We’re going on trips together, we have future dates planned.”
Olandria gushed over her excitement to spend more time with Nic, blushing when Cohen asked about if their “journey” was “worth the wait,” poking fun at Nic’s code word for sex throughout the season.
“It was worth the wait,” Olandria stated, not adding any other details.

Pepe and Iris came in fourth during the July 13 finale, and after leaving the villa, were open about their intentions to only date each other and keep things “honest.”
“We both date in very similar ways,” Pepe told PEOPLE at the time. “We just want to focus on one person, ride out the wave, or if the wave just continues to go, then just be together, but just be happy.”
He also said they wanted to make things as “normal as possible” now that they were out of the villa. “We just want to be together and hang out together and just see what happens.”
At the reunion, the pair explained that they have discussed their future before, but they haven’t put a label on anything yet.
“I see dating as once you’re exclusive, you’re pretty much boyfriend and girlfriend,” Pepe said as Iris quipped, “I think you have to ask someone to be your girlfriend.”
“She’s like, you have to date, and then from dating, you see how it goes, and then you ask the question,” Pepe continued, highlighting that being in the public eye puts expectations on the relationship that makes it hard to “date like we normally would.”
When asked if she wanted to be Pepe’s girlfriend, Iris laughed and replied, “Yeah, I feel like we’re going in a good direction.”
However, on Aug. 24, fans noticed that Iris and Pepe had unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling breakup rumors.
Chelley and Ace

The final couple to be eliminated before the season 7 finale, Chelley and Ace made things exclusive while they were still in the villa. Over one month later, things are not official between them either.
“We’re still exclusive,” Chelley explained at the reunion special. “He’s big on doing romantic gestures, and I love stuff like that, so just waiting for the perfect moment to be official.”
“I’ve got something cooking up my sleeve,” Ace then revealed.
When the moment comes, Chelley will be Ace’s first ever girlfriend — “and last, too,” he added. He also confirmed that he is “in love” with her.
Days before the reunion aired, Chelley told Teen Vogue that she’s “in love” as well but explained why she and Ace are “not fully in a relationship yet.”
“I’m like, ‘Look [Ace], you told me you want to be exclusive, I said yes,” she recalled. “But until you ask, ‘Will you be my girlfriend? I am not your girlfriend, okay?’”
She went on to tease that she knows Ace will pop that question “in the most romantic, grandest gesture ever,” which she’s “excited for.”
