The Amazing Race has been sending people on a mad dash around the world for nearly 25 years.
In each season of the CBS competition series, which first aired in 2001 and is hosted by Phil Keoghan, teams of two (apart from season 8, when teams of four took part) compete in a worldwide relay race, hoping to become the first to arrive at the end of the final leg to win the $1 million grand prize.
Among the pairs to have won have been married couples, siblings, best friends and even a pair of blind daters. Some winners have taken advantage of the platform to embark on careers in the public eye, while others have gone back to the jobs and lives they had before winning.
Season 38 saw former Big Brother contestants and their loved ones travel through Europe. The finalists included brother pairs Jas and Jag Bains and Joseph and Adam Abdin, plus couple Taylor Hale and Kyland Young.
So, where are the winners of The Amazing Race now? Here’s everything to know about their lives today.
Season 1: Rob Frisbee and Brennan Swain

Lawyers Rob Frisbee and Brennan Swain entered The Amazing Race as best friends — and they’re still best friends over two decades later. Swain served as best man at Frisbee’s wedding in 2017 and is the godfather of his son, Max, per Instagram.
Frisbee is now a film writer in addition to still working as an attorney at Connelly & Finkel in Encino, Calif., per his bio. Swain is also a lawyer, specializing in intellectual property, according to his Instagram bio.
Season 2: Chris Luca and Alex Boylan

Lifelong friends Chris Luca and Alex Boylan won season 2 of The Amazing Race — and they remain pals today, per Instagram.
Boylan remains in the public eye, hosting series like PBS’ At the Chef’s Table and Prime Video’s The College Tour. He’s even nabbed an Emmy nomination for his work on The Steve Harvey Show, according to his LinkedIn.
After dating for six years, Boylan wed fashion executive Katie Erlandson in July 2019, per Style Me Pretty.
Luca, meanwhile, lives a private life and is not on social media.
Season 3: Flo Pesenti and Zach Behr

After winning, friends Flo Pesenti and Zach Behr have both had successful careers in entertainment and media. Pesenti works as the vice president of events and special projects at Fanatics, according to her LinkedIn; she and her longtime partner, NewsNation TV host Dan Abrams, share two children.
Behr, meanwhile, got married to documentary director Elyse Steinberg in October 2008, according to The New York Times. He is now a vice president at A+E Networks, per his LinkedIn.
Season 4: Reichen Lehmkuhl and Chip Arndt

Reichen Lehmkuhl and Chip Arndt won The Amazing Race in 2003, becoming the first-ever couple (and first same-sex couple) to do so. However, they split shortly afterwards.
Lehmkuhl entered the entertainment industry, appearing on series like Frasier and briefly dating Lance Bass before their 2007 split. He starred in the 2010 off-Broadway show My Big Gay Italian Wedding and appeared in the Logo reality series The A-List: New York alongside then-boyfriend Rodiney Santiago. He currently serves as the CEO of LeaseLock, per his bio.
Arndt, meanwhile, has been a vocal LGBTQ+ advocate, per the Windy City Times. He is currently the executive vice president at Flimp, according to his LinkedIn.
Season 5: Chip and Kim McAllister

Married parents-of-three Chip and Kim McAllister remain partners in business and life. The duo became motivational speakers after their Amazing Race win, in addition to founding the corporate video production company PeopleStar FilmWorks alongside their son, CJ, per their LinkedIn.
The couple also work in real estate and have their own McAllister Real Estate Group in Newport Beach, Calif., according to Chip’s website.
Season 6: Freddy Holliday and Kendra Bentley

Freddy Holliday and Kendra Bentley, who were engaged while filming, got married in 2005 and welcomed two sons — Jaxson and Bryson — together. However, they later split.
Bentley still works as a model and has been on the cover of numerous magazines, including Glamour Europe and Elle Romania. She has a third son, Logan, with another partner.
Holliday, meanwhile, lives a private life.
Season 7: Uchenna and Joyce Agu

Uchenna and Joyce Agu were married when they took part in the show, but have since divorced, per Entertainment Weekly. However, they’re ”still great friends,” according to Joyce.
When Entertainment Weekly checked in with the former couple in November 2014, Joyce was writing a book about her experiences, while Uchenna was working in marketing. Uchenna has since become a life coach, per his Instagram; he is also a managing partner at a Houston-based consulting firm, according to his LinkedIn.
Season 8: Nick, Alex, Megan and Tommy Linz

Siblings Nick, Alex, Megan and Tommy Linz won the first family edition of the show, giving half of their earnings to their parents. In December 2015, a decade after they won, their mom Terri gave an update on them to WUXU.
She shared that Nick was a partner in a manufacturing company and had two children, Marlow and Axel, with his wife Brooke Maynard. Alex, who worked in sales at a packaging company, married his wife, Nicci, and had a son, Levi.
Megan welcomed three daughters — Olivia, Scarlett and Lila — with her husband, Blake Jones. The couple have since had another two daughters, per her Instagram.
At the time, Tommy was single and worked with a neurospine device company. However, he’s since married a woman named Caitlan. They have a son, Bohdi, and another child on the way, per his Instagram.
Season 9: B.J. Averell and Tyler MacNiven

Best friends B.J. Averell and Tyler MacNiven both developed acting careers after winning The Amazing Race. Averell had a small role in an episode of Weeds, per his IMDb.
Meanwhile, MacNiven, who had a small role in 2006’s The Pursuit of Happyness, later went on to open restaurants with his brothers — they run Buck’s of Woodside in Woodside, Calif., after taking over from their parents. He married Kelly Hennigan, the brother of Survivor contestant and wrestler John Hennigan, in September 2016, per SFGate.
Season 10: Tyler Denk and James Branaman

Best friends Tyler Denk and James Branaman won The Amazing Race in 2006 after traveling to Morocco, Kuwait, Vietnam and more.
Branaman, who has since become a photographer, and art director Elaina Bellis welcomed twin daughters, Quincy Kay and Rowe James, in 2016. They wed in January 2025, per his Instagram.
Meanwhile, Denk has stayed out of the public eye since winning The Amazing Race.
Season 11: Eric Sanchez and Danielle Turner

Eric Sanchez and Danielle Turner first competed on different teams on season 9, but began dating after they met on the show. They returned for the All-Stars season, winning it. However, the couple split not long after the season ended.
Turner later married Christopher Stout, a contractor, and they have three children. She works as the founder of Jolie Hair Extensions.
Sanchez, meanwhile, is in a relationship with interior designer Nicole Datzman, per Instagram. He’s the president of Novus Jet Charter, according to his LinkedIn.
Season 12: TK Erwin and Rachel Rosales

TK Erwin and Rachel Rosales were newly dating when they won The Amazing Race. However, they split after winning the show.
Rosales wed husband Joshua Wilkerson in September 2021. The couple welcomed a son in 2023. She currently works as the co-founder of the Cahoots Event Production Agency, per a February 2024 interview in VoyageLA.
Erwin has remained out of the public eye since his Amazing Race win.
Season 13: Nick and Starr Spangler

After winning The Amazing Race in 2008, sibling duo Nick and Starr Spangler have both seen their careers take off.
Nick has performed on Broadway numerous times, including in Tootsie, The Book of Mormon and Cinderella, per Playbill. He and his wife, Kim Spangler, share a son named Nate.
In 2010, his sister Starr was diagnosed with lymphoma, per News24, but has since made a full recovery. She married Tyler Rey in October 2013; she currently works for Meta and runs the Dance Starr Fitness center, according to her LinkedIn.
Season 14: Tammy and Victor Jih

After winning the show, brother and sister team Tammy and Victor Jih continued their work as lawyers. Tammy has worked on and off at Google since 2010, according to her LinkedIn.
Meanwhile, Victor is a partner at a law firm in Century City, Calif., according to his bio. He has also taught at the University of California, Los Angeles law school.
Season 15: Meghan Rickey and Cheyne Whitney

Meghan Rickey and Cheyne Whitney were dating when they won The Amazing Race in 2009. They’re still together today, getting married in May 2011 and welcoming two children, Rumi and Mays.
Rickey is an interior designer and is director of operations at True Photography Weddings, per her LinkedIn. Whitney, meanwhile, has worked as head coach at the Samurai San Diego and as a senior manager at the city’s Rescue Social Change Group, according to his Facebook.
Season 16: Dan and Jordan Pious

Sibling duo Dan and Jordan Pious won The Amazing Race in 2010.
Dan has been an operations manager at Reebook CrossFit Back Bay in Boston since 2017, per his LinkedIn.
Meanwhile, Jordan works as a retail executive, according to his Instagram bio.
Season 17: Nat Strand and Kat Chang

Doctors Nat Strand and Kat Chang nabbed $1 million in 2010 — becoming the first all-female team to do so. They remain close today, with Chang even serving as a bridesmaid for Strand during her wedding to Nathan Hill.
Strand currently works for Phoenix’s Mayo Clinic in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. She shares two children with Hill.
Chang, who has also continued to work as a physican, is married with two children, too. She’s a keen traveler, often posting photos and videos from family trips on her Instagram.
Season 18: Kisha and Jen Hoffman

Since winning the show with her sister, Kisha has continued to work with children and was an assistant principal in California for four years. She now works as a senior director for the Child Mind Institute, where she has been since 2022, according to her LinkedIn.
Meanwhile, Jen, who has worked as an ESPN analyst, wed Ryan Fowler in 2013. They share a daughter, Nylah Mackenzie, and a son, Logan Ryan, together.
Season 19: Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang

Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang won The Amazing Race while they were engaged — and they’ve since tied the knot. The couple got married in 2012 (a year after they won the show) and have since welcomed three sons together: Maverick, Ernest a.k.a. “Finn” and August.
The couple have even returned to show, appearing in the season 29 finale along alongside Maverick to give out clues in their hometown of Chicago.
Halvorsen has worked at Kraft Heinz since 2014, becoming the associate director of commercialization in April 2025, per his LinkedIn. Meanwhile, Chiang has worked at Google in sales since 2015, according to her own account.
Season 20: Rachel and Dave Brown Jr.

Rachel and Dave Brown Jr. were married at the time of their win, but divorced a year later in 2013.
Rachel since married Chad Weis, and they have a daughter, Reese. Dave is now a parent too — in May 2019, he welcomed a son named Nixon Ames, per a post on X.
Season 21: Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Dr. Brent Ridge

Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Dr. Brent Ridge were already successes prior to coming on The Amazing Race, having founded their goat milk skincare brand, Beekman 1802, and starred on the reality show The Fabulous Beekman Boys. However, winning the CBS show catapulted their business into the stratosphere.
“What was great about the fact that we were always in last place and called the ultimate underdogs the entire race [was that] it fit in with our founder’s story: having lost our jobs and starting on the farm, two gay New York City guys in a small town in rural New York and starting with nothing,” Kilmer-Purcell told Entrepreneur in June 2025. “The Amazing Race story was so authentic to the brand that it was a multiplier.”
A year after winning, the couple got married in 2013. In December 2021, they sold a majority stake in Beekman 1802 to Eurazeo Brands for $62 million, per WWD. The brand is sold in Anthropologie, Ulta Beauty, Target and more.
Kilmer-Purcell and Ridge have published three cookbooks, and their first book on business, G.O.A.T. Wisdom: How to Build a Truly Great Business, hit shelves in July 2025, according to Entrepreneur.
Season 22: Bates and Anthony Battaglia

After winning The Amazing Race, brothers Bates and Anthony Battaglia continue to live in Raleigh, N.C.
Bates, a former NHL pro, has owned Lucky B’s bar since 2005. In 2021, the brothers opened another bar, Teets (named for their dad, who died in 2020), with their winnings from the race, Bates told VoyageRaleigh in February 2025. They also own The Silver Dollar and the Sand Dollar Sports Bar in Carolina Beach, N.C.
Meanwhile, Anthony, who worked as a firefighter in Raleigh for many years, has started the Axes and Ales party bus firetruck, his brother told VoyageRaleigh.
Season 23: Jason Case and Amy Diaz

Jason Case and Amy Diaz were just dating when they won The Amazing Race, but it clearly brought them together.
The couple got married in March 2015, and have since welcomed five children together, including daughters Mya, Allyson and Jaclyn and sons Jalen and Jacson.
Amy works as a motivational speaker and host, while Jason runs Case Snow Management, a facilities management solutions company, per his LinkedIn.
Season 24: Dave and Connor O’Leary

After first competing on season 22 — and being forced to withdraw due to an injury — father-and-son duo Dave and Connor O’Leary won season 24 of The Amazing Race in 2014.
Since winning, Connor has welcomed a child. In 2017, he co-founded an adventure bag company.
Connor had testicular cancer before appearing on The Amazing Race, and he and Dave have both raised awareness of the disease in the years since.
Season 25: Amy DeJong and Maya Warren

After winning the show, best friends, students and so-called “sweet scientists” Amy DeJong and Maya Warren graduated with their PhDs.
They both continue to work in confections: DeJong has worked for Mars since 2018, per her LinkedIn. Meanwhile, Warren worked for Tyra Banks’ SMiZE Cream for two years from 2021 until 2023, and founded IC3 CRM CONSULTING LLC afterwards, according to her account.
Season 26: Laura Pierson and Tyler Adams

Season 26 — which followed teams of blind daters — was won by Laura Pierson and Tyler Adams. However, the two never went on to date afterwards.
Pierson has worked at Great American Media in May 2022 as the network’s executive producer of digital content. In October 2025, she welcomed a son named Jack.
Adams, meanwhile, is the CEO of wire fraud protection firm CertifID, which he co-founded in March 2018, per his LinkedIn.
Season 27: Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta

After winning, Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta, a team of dating news anchors, got married in August 2017. They’ve since welcomed three sons: Everett, Trey and Brady.
In 2022, Gerckens became a communications manager and public information officer for Santa Barbara County. That same year, Buttitta joined Ventura County in the same role, per a post on X.
Season 28: Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina

Choreographers Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina were engaged while appearing on — and winning — the show. However, they split up in 2016.
Borriello is still dancing on YouTube and works as a transformation coach and spiritual guide. She has a son, Everest Gray, with her partner Jason Santana; they’re currently expecting their second child.
Steffanina, meanwhile, is the founder of DNCR Dance Academy and streetwear brand Mad Chill. He is in a relationship with entrepreneur Ann McFerran.
Season 29: Brooke Camhi and Scott Flanary

Strangers and Amazing Race superfans Brooke Camhi and Scott Flanary both returned to their regular jobs after winning season 29.
Camhi works as a television legal correspondent, per her Instagram. She also appears on The Purple Pants Podcast alongside Survivor alum Brice Izyah, where she discusses The Amazing Race. In September 2023, she got married to Matt Goodwin.
Flanary, meanwhile, has worked as a senior talent acquisition manager at Microsoft since November 2024, per his LinkedIn. He is in a relationship with Twitch streamer Kil Cannon.
Season 30: Cody and Jessica Nickson

Cody Nickson and Jessica Nickson (née Graf) won The Amazing Race after appearing on Big Brother 19 together (and beginning to date while in the Big Brother house). They got engaged in February 2018 before getting married that October.
The couple have four daughters together: Maverick, Carter, Atlas and Italia. Nickson has another daughter, Paisley, from a previous relationship.
Season 31: Colin Guinn and Christie Woods

Partners Colin Guinn and Christie Woods first appeared on season 5 of The Amazing Race before returning to win season 31, which featured former contestants and stars from other CBS reality shows, including Survivor and Big Brother.
Woods, a former beauty pageant queen, is now a life and relationship coach, according to her website. Meanwhile, Guinn is the CEO of toy company Gel Blaster, per his LinkedIn.
The couple share two sons, Woods told Maps, Memories & Motherhood in July 2019.
Season 32: Will Jardell and James Wallington

After getting engaged as they crossed the finish line to win season 32, Will Jardell and James Wallington got married in New Orleans in December 2021.
“Now that the moment is over, we can breathe, we can celebrate, we wipe all the joyful tears and start our new lives as husbands!” they told PEOPLE at the time. “We are overjoyed and feel so incredibly loved. We couldn’t be happier.”
The couple live in Los Angeles and share two dogs. On their joint Instagram account, they describe themselves as travel creators.
Season 33: Kim and Penn Holderness

Since winning The Amazing Race in 2022, YouTubers Kim and Penn Holderness have continued working as creators and raising their children, daughter Lola and son Penn, together.
In March 2021, they published their first book, Everybody Fights: So Why Not Get Better At It?. Together, they’ve released two books about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), ADHD is Awesome: A Guide to (Mostly) Thriving With ADHD and All You Can Be with ADHD. They also host a podcast called Laugh Lines with Kim & Penn Holderness.
Season 34: Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss

After meeting and falling in love on Big Brother, Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss won season 34 of The Amazing Race. They then appeared in the season premiere of the following season.
They remained together for four years, but split in September 2025. “After 4 wonderful years together, Derek and I have decided to end our relationship,” a statement posted on their Instagram Stories read. “Nothing dramatic happened, just the realization that we’re different people who want different things.”
Xiao has been a creator experience product manager at Stealth Startup since February 2025, per his LinkedIn. Refhuss, meanwhile, is a senior cloud solution architect at Microsoft, a role she has held since September 2024 and previously from 2018 to 2022, according to her account.
Season 35: Greg and John Franklin

Brothers Greg and John Franklin became the first team of Black men to win The Amazing Race back in 2023.
John, who is currently studying to receive his MBA and ML at the University of Pennsylvania, got married to Celeste Witting in March 2025. Greg, meanwhile, is a software developer, according to his Instagram.
Season 36: Ricky Rotandi and César Aldrete

Ricky Rotandi and César Aldrete were a dominant force on The Amazing Race season 36 up until the very end of the race.
Now, the couple host a recap podcast on YouTube together and frequently post travel content on their joint Instagram. Aldrete still works as a chef and food stylist, per his LinkedIn.
Season 37: Carson McCalley and Jack Dodge

After winning The Amazing Race in May 2025, best friends Carson McCalley and Jack Dodge have continued with their streaming channel, Dweeb Wars. In July 2025, the duo announced that they would use their prize money to create a board game.
Dodge is in a relationship with Michael Mort. Meanwhile, McCalley is dating Alex Cortinas.
