NEED TO KNOW
South Park’s tale of Donald Trump’s mission to rid Satan of their unborn baby has come to an end.
The show’s season 28 finale, which premiered Wednesday, Dec. 10 on Comedy Central, has finally revealed the fate of the pair’s “demon spawn” pregnancy (as it’s called in the episode) — and it made for a not-so-jolly holiday-themed episode.
After a storyline following the commander in chief’s dance with the devil, an accidental pregnancy and his (and Vice President JD Vance’s) many failed attempts to abort the child, “The Crap Out” fills fans in on how it all ends… at least for now.

While the episode also follows South Park regular Stan’s encounters with Jesus and the Woodland Critters, it largely continues the imaginary Trump-Satan saga with Satan realizing his man is out of town in Colorado on an “urgent matter.” Basically, fictional Trump and Vance attempt to break tech billionaire Peter Thiel out of jail as part of his “operation: kill my own baby.”
While doing chores back at the White House, Satan discovers something that gives him pause: a blue jockstrap buried in their laundry. Then he hears a distant voice telling him where it came from. It’s Towelie, informing him that Trump has been cheating on Satan with Vance and has fled to Colorado to kill their child.
“Vice President Vance doesn’t want you to have the baby, because he thinks your baby’s gonna hurt his chances of becoming president,” Towelie tells Satan. “So he convinces Trump to get rid of the baby himself. But every time he tries, he gets blocked by the FCC… it’s all crazy man, you can’t write this s—.”
“The president hath deceived me,” Satan says. “He hath deceived us all. And I shall make him pay!”

Eventually, Satan and Towelie make their way to Colorado to confront cartoon Trump and Vance over their “expertly crafted plot” (and the two sleeping together).
“Your deception is over, Donald,” Satan says. “And so are we. This child will be born and for once, you are going to have to live with the consequences of your actions.”
Luckily for Trump and Vance, Jesus swoops in and teleports them out of harm’s way before they break Thiel and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth out of jail. That’s when Satan starts having contractions and heads to the hospital. When the Trump crew makes their way to the hospital, Jesus flips on his apparent MAGA ways and a doctor delivers the bad news about the baby to everyone.
“We looked at the ultrasound and it appears at some point when nobody was watching, the baby hung itself and took its own life. I’m afraid you can see it all in the video. The baby got a hold of some bed sheets. There’s a couple minutes missing from the ultrasound but it’s definitely a suicide,” the doctor says, in a nod to Jeffrey Epstein and speculation over his 2019 death.
“Boss, it’s a miracle,” fictional Vance proclaims.

While Satan is down in the dumps over his child’s death, cartoon Trump couldn’t be happier, hosting a “funeral” at the White House (basically a giant party with strobe lights). He even does the president’s signature two-fist dance.
Meanwhile, South Park’s version Fox News claims the baby “took the easy way out” and that it’s “just what babies do sometimes,” while Satan packs his bags and walks out on Trump.
Last month, series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker told The New York Times that their focus on parodies of political figures in recent episodes came as they felt the urge to “show our independence somehow.” Stone explained they’re “attracted to that like flies to honey” when it comes to touching on the “taboo.”
“It’s not that we got all political,” Parker said. “It’s that politics became pop culture.”
Seasons 27 and 28 of South Park, which airs on Comedy Central, are available to stream on Paramount+.
