Valerie Bertinelli is sharing some candid shots from a FaceTime call with her brother Patrick.
The celebrity chef posted a carousel of images showing her sibling alternately smiling and looking thoughtful throughout their conversation, as Valerie’s own animated reactions can be seen in the bottom right corner.
“My brother @patrickbertinelli and I go through a few different emotions on FaceTime. 😆,” she captioned the Instagram post on Saturday, July 18. “The look on my face on the second slide is…classic and typical.”
Valerie then acknowledged, “And yes, yes, I know my brother is handsome. Ew. He’s also very happily married to @stacyblog ♥️”
Patrick’s wife, Stacy, replied to the post, commenting, “Thanks, Sis! The Uncle Pat Fan Club is pretty fierce.”
Numerous commenters weighed in, both echoing Valerie’s compliment for her brother and praising the pair’s playful relationship.

In May, Valerie shared some photos and videos of the two siblings together two years earlier on a trip to Paris.
“Trying to take photos with my family is a pain in the a– and that pain in the a– starts with my brother and has now seeped to my son,” she began the caption, referring to Wolfgang Van Halen, the son she shares with the late Eddie Van Halen.
“I will save any story of Wolfie for another day as I think I’ve embarrassed him enough, but this is my brother @patrickbertinelli. Mud, as I call him. It’s a nickname he’s had since he was two maybe? (again, another story) or as some of you might know him, uncle Pat.”
She explained that the family was sightseeing in France when Wolfie’s band, Mammoth WVH, was opening for Metallica in 2023.
“This is a few pics and video of me just trying to take a simple picture in front of le tour Eiffel. 😩 The last slide is the real Saint Valérie, she really lost her head, I just got mine clipped by my bro.😅 I Love you, Mud 🥰♥️,” she wrote.
