Forget sweater weather — it’s leather weather in Kansas City!
Travis Kelce made his way into the Kansas City Chiefs locker room on Sunday, Oct. 19 in a sleek leather jacket and thin sunglasses, a pairing that channeled the 1999 sci-fi movie The Matrix.
The Chiefs tight end, 36, arrived at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City ahead of his team’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders in the black jacket, which he wore over a collared shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Kelce’s outfit comes one week after he sported a ‘fit with a subtle reference to fiancée Taylor Swift and her song “Wood” off her recently released album, The Life of a Showgirl, stepping out in a lumberjack-coded ensemble for the Chiefs-Lions game on Oct. 12.

The top was a $1,690 long-sleeve shirt by Louis Vuitton, with the fashion house’s iconic monogram printed all over in shades of brown, complete with a classic white collar. He paired it with tan cargo pants.
The outfit served as the second consecutive time the three-time Super Bowl champion wore an autumnal outfit with a low-key reference to the woodsy track. The week prior, his outfit paid subtle homage to Swift’s 12th studio album.
Swift’s song “Wood” is believed to be about the football player and his manhood, and seemed to have influenced Kelce’s woodland-inspired shirt ahead of the Chiefs game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which took place on Oct. 6.

“It’s a great song,” Kelce previously said of the risqué track during the Oct. 8 episode of his New Heights podcast.
Swift, meanwhile, made her first public appearance at an NFL game this season when the Chiefs defeated the Lions.
The outing also marked the pop superstar (and her massive engagement ring!)’s game debut since she and Kelce announced their engagement in August.
