Tom Cruise doesn’t look back in anger. Despite Liam and Noel Gallagher dissing him once years ago, the actor recently attended one of Oasis‘ reunion concerts in London.
As captured in an Instagram photo posted by Goldie on Saturday (July 26), Cruise joined the British music producer in the stands at Wembley Stadium for Oasis’ first of five performances this month at the famed venue. In the snap, the Top Gun star smiles excitedly and holds up a “hang loose” hand symbol while posing next to Goldie at Friday’s (July 25) show.
Cruise also appears in the background of a clip also posted by Goldie, who dances along to the Gallagher brothers’ set as the action-movie icon cheerfully interacts with fellow concertgoers behind him.
The outing comes nearly two decades after the Oasis siblings made their dislike of Cruise very clear in 2007 documentary Lord Don’t Slow Me Down. In a clip from the tour film, Noel says frankly, “He’s a little f–ker, and he’s not been in one good film in his entire career.”
Liam replied at the time, “I hate Tom Cruise,” calling the actor a “bastard.”
Even so, Cruise was one of thousands of Oasis fans who couldn’t resist coming out to see the band’s first tour in years. The Gallagher siblings had nurtured a bitter sibling feud for about 16 years until August of last year, when they announced that they’d be hitting the road together once again.
“The guns have fallen silent,” Oasis wrote in a statement at the time. “The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Months later, the group’s Live ’25 Tour kicked off July 4 in Cardiff, Wales. Following stops in Manchester, England, and now in London, the bandmates will spend the next four months touring through Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Latin America — meaning Cruise and other fans will have plenty more opportunities to see Oasis live this year.
