NEED TO KNOW
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans, your prayers have been answered.
Following an explosive season 2 that left MomTok fans with burning questions, the cast is getting back together to provide some answers. Hulu has announced that the hit series will have a reunion special, coming to the streamer on Tuesday, July 1.
Host Nick Viall reunites MomTok and DadTok members to uncover secrets and scandals, never-before-seen footage and a surprise announcement in the show’s first-ever reunion special.
Photos from the reunion give a hint at what to expect, with a notable absence. Both a MomTok group photo and a photo of the larger cast do not feature Demi Engemann and her husband Bret Engemann. Demi, who was widely regarded as the season’s villain, has done promo for season 2, though her current status in MomTok remains uncertain.

Demi hasn’t commented on the reunion so far, but she did post a video featuring a clip from a Lucy Hale interview where the actress says, “You’re actually doing things right if people don’t like you. When I have felt the most aligned in speaking my truth, like emanating my inner light, it triggers a lot of people. A couple of people online are like, ‘I don’t believe her… phony.’ But it doesn’t faze me.”
“👏👏👏 queen stuff,” she captioned the Instagram Stories post.
Another hint on what’s to come lies in an Instagram comment from Whitney Leavitt on the show’s reunion announcement, where she writes, “We probably should’ve taken these pics before brawl 😳😅😆.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has a lot of unresolved drama to explore. Are Demi’s bridges in the group truly burned? What will MomTok make of the news that Jessi Ngatikaura was allegedly unfaithful in her marriage?
Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s future is also another subject likely to be broached, with the two continuing to work on themselves and their co-parenting relationship, sidelining their romance. Likewise, fans are eager to hear updates on how Jen Affleck and Zac have continued working through their marital issues and whether she’ll be able to return to MomTok while protecting her marriage.
Viall is no stranger to these Utah influencers, many of whom have appeared on his podcast The Viall Files. Most recently, Dakota opened up on the podcast about struggling with addiction from his teen years through his first marriage and staying clean after a relapse three years ago.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2 is now streaming and the reunion special will air on Tuesday, July 1 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
