The Kelly Clarkson Show has a return date.
On Wednesday, Sept. 3, NBC announced that Kelly Clarkson’s eponymous talk show will be returning on Monday, Sept. 29. after being on hiatus for the summer.
Season 7 of the show, which goes into production in the studio the week of Sept. 8, will honor the heroes who rescued campers from the devastating flood in Texas in July, per a press release.
Fans can expect Emily Blunt, Marion Cotillard, Colin Farrell, Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne Johnson, Matthew McConaughey, Lionel Richie, Julia Roberts, Shonda Rhimes, Margot Robbie, Sylvester Stallone, Channing Tatum, Reese Witherspoon and others making an appearance on the talk show.

This fall also sees Clarkson, 43, returning to her red chair on The Voice, per a Deadline, which reported she will be back for the 29th season; Jennifer Hudson, who previously served as a coach on The Voice, had stepped in for Clarkson for a battle round rehearsal.
The “Miss Independent” singer last appeared on the competition show’s twenty-third season.
Clarkson joins John Legend and Adam Levine for the upcoming season, where the “powerhouse coaches who form the only panel in the show’s history comprised entirely of Voice winners,” per a press release.
Clarkson’s time away from The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Voice comes after her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock died of complications from melanoma on Aug. 7.
She revealed his illness on Aug. 6 when she announced she was postponing the August dates of her Las Vegas residency to be “fully present” for their children River, 11, and Remington, 9.

Clarkson launched her talk show in 2019; it has since recorded over 1,000 episodes and won 22 Emmys throughout its tenure.
This year, The Kelly Clarkson Show is up for eight Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host.
