Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea Swift is getting candid about her thoughts on her daughter’s fiancé, Travis Kelce.
In a new trailer for Swift’s The End of an Era docuseries — released on Swift’s social media on Thursday, Nov. 13 — Andrea, 67, could be seen making a rare comment on Kelce, 36, amid her daughter’s record-breaking Eras Tour.
“Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness,” Andrea could be heard remarking in one clip.
A follow-up clip showing the “Anti-Hero” singer, 35, beaming as she chatted with the NFL star, 36, over the phone while sitting in the back of a car perfectly illustrated Andrea’s point. In the clip, Swift joked to her fiancé, “We basically do the same job.”
“You’ve got teammates. I got teammates,” Kelce agreed on speakerphone. “You’ve got Coach Reid, I’ve got my mom,” added Swift as they both laughed on the phone.
The couple were also seen sharing a kiss and some fun moments backstage, as well as rehearsing for Travis’ viral onstage appearance at London’s Wembley Stadium in June 2024.
“Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage,” Swift captioned the trailer on Instagram, referencing it being released the day before her 36th birthday. “‘The End of an Era,’ a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @disneyplus beginning Dec 12 🫶.”

The docuseries charts “the development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour” and “gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world,” according to a previously released press release.
It was announced on Oct. 13 alongside Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show — a live recording of her final performance on The Eras Tour, which took place on Dec. 8, 2024 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.

This year has been full of announcements for Swift. As well as dropping her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl on Oct. 3, she and Kelce also announced their engagement on Aug. 26 alongside photos from the garden proposal. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the joint Instagram post was captioned.
While promoting TLOAS on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last month, the Grammy winner opened up about the stunning engagement ring Kelce got for her to seal the deal.
“He customized [the ring] and designed it with this amazing jeweler who he made it with,” explained Swift of her dazzling engagement ring. Host Jimmy Fallon, 51, added in response, “It’s gorgeous — even the sides are beautiful!”
“I’m still like, ‘Oh man, wow!… I look at it constantly, like it doesn’t feel in any way normal for me,” said Swift, adding of Kelce, “I’m just like, man, whoa. But it’s more than that. He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met, no offense to everyone else, but the fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever, that’s the whole thing of it. You look at it and you’re like, ‘I’m going to hang out with him forever,’ and this represents that.”

The pair have recently been spotted on date nights in New York City and Swift has attended three of Kelce’s games — including one where he gave a sweet nod to his fiancée.
Kelce celebrated his 83rd career touchdown with the Chiefs by looking up at the suite — where Swift was watching the game — and doing a bit of the choreography from the pop superstar’s “The Fate of Ophelia” music video.
The End of an Era begins streaming on Disney+ on Dec. 12.
