Taylor Swift has a new favorite movie, and it just so happens to star one of her favorite people: Travis Kelce.
On the day of the Netflix premiere of Happy Gilmore 2 — in which the Kansas City Chiefs tight end appears alongside Adam Sandler — the pop superstar posted her review of the film on her Instagram Story on Friday (July 25). Sharing the film’s poster, she wrote that the project “had me cackling and cheering the whole movie!”
“An absolute must watch,” she continued, rating it a “13/10.”
The 14-time Grammy winner added, “Go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible.”
Serving as a sequel to the original Happy Gilmore in 1996, Happy Gilmore 2 reunites Sandler with Julie Bowen and Ben Stiller as they reprise their characters while also adding new faces such as Kelce and Bad Bunny. Just over a week before the new film’s premiere, the Grown Ups star touched on bonding with the NFL star on set and praised Kelce’s superstar girlfriend, telling Entertainment Tonight, “Taylor’s so damn nice to my family and has always been … and Travis is such a gentle, nice guy.”
Swift’s praise for Kelce’s new acting venture is just the latest time she’s showed support for her boyfriend’s career, with the 14-time Grammy winner frequently cheering him on at Chiefs games throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons. She also backed him up at his Tight End University event this past June, surprising Kelce’s guests with a performance of “Shake It Off” one night.
“[Taylor] just went out there without practicing, and it was pitch-perfect,” Kelce later gushed on his New Heights podcast. “[She] just killed it.”
The Eras Tour headliner isn’t the only half of Tayvis that’s been active on Instagram lately. One day prior to Swift showing love to Happy Gilmore 2, Kelce shared a number of photos of himself and the singer, giving fans a rare look into their romance. Swift’s younger brother, Austin, also appeared in a couple of the snaps, which appear to show him going on a fishing trip and hiking with his sister’s boyfriend and Kelce’s older brother, Jason.
