Taylor Swift is amping up the glam for her new era!
The pop star, 35, appeared on the Wednesday, Oct. 8, episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers and sported a brand-new look that was fit for a true showgirl.

Swift wore a floral brocade matching two-piece outfit consisting of the Julie strapless brocade bustier top ($4,500) and matching Brocade mini skirt ($750) by Wiederhoeft. She accessorized the look with a stunning pink stone-encrusted jewel necklace by David Morris and added even more dazzle with Aquazzura’s Ce Soir Sandal ($1,570), also in pink.
The “Fate of Ophelia” singer switched up her beauty for the evening by adding wavy hair extensions that grazed her chest and fell at her ribs. Swift’s bangs were slightly tousled for her appearance on the show, while the rest of her hair was pinned back and teased to add volume to the style.
Swift also ditched her signature red lip and opted for a pinky-nude lipstick that complemented the subtle pink tones of her two-piece set, jewelry and heels. Though her red lip took a hiatus for her appearance on the late-night show, her signature winged eyeliner remained.
The extensions serve as a departure from her recent hairstyles. On Oct. 7, Swift was spotted in New York City with her natural hair length. During her outing, she wore a plain black long-sleeve turtleneck with a high-waist plaid miniskirt and knee-high boots.

Her hair fell straight past her shoulders in a relaxed style. She also styled her bangs in a loose-curled under look.

For her Oct. 6 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Swift instead wore her hair in an updo with loose curls and waves pinned away from her face.

Her bangs fell in a lush swoop down her forehead, which allowed her sparkling diamond chandelier earrings to be the star of the show.
Swift changing up her glam comes as no surprise — in her interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe for The Life of a Showgirl, she explained that she “welcomes the chaos,” which can extend to her looks.
“The rule of show business is if it’s the first week of my album release and you are saying either my name or my album title, you’re helping,” she added. “And art, I have a lot of respect for people’s subjective opinions on art. I’m not the art police. It’s like, everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want. And what our goal is as entertainers is to be a mirror.”
