NEED TO KNOW
Lindsay Hubbard and Turner Kufe, who welcomed daughter Gemma together in December, have called it quits.
The reality star, 39, revealed that the pair have been broken up for several months during part 2 of the Summer House season 9 reunion on Wednesday, June 4. Gushing over him being a better father “than I ever could have expected,” Lindsay explained that their priority has been their 5-month-old.
“We put our romantic relationship on pause for now,” she said. “We are just focused on being the best parents we can possibly be to Gemma. We are coparents, we are an amazing team.”
The rest of the cast was shocked, with Gabby Prescod saying “it is hard to tell” that they weren’t a couple anymore and West Wilson noting that he was with them the week prior and “didn’t clock it” either.
“Yeah, because you wouldn’t,” Lindsay replied. “We are like the best of friends. Even on the weekend, when we don’t have our nanny and it’s just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we’re out to brunch, we’re going to visit friends.”

She added that Turner sleeps at her apartment “half the week,” but insisted they are not “friends with benefits” or dating other people.
“We’ll see what happens in the future,” she continued. “But as of right this second, I think there’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It’s too much at once.”

After Amanda Batula acknowledged how supportive Turner has been of Lindsay as the mother of their child, Gabby commended her for making such “a mature decision.”
“We’ve had discussions about it, and I feel like she was like, Turner’s such a great dad to Gemma but he’s not the person romantically for me,” Gabby said. “I think that’s a level of maturity to realize instead of trying to make it work just to stay a family, it’s like, I’m gonna try to find somebody else who can be the man for me and not the dad, because Gemma already has a dad.”
Lindsay, who has been on Summer House since its series premiere in 2017, has also been open about the contention her public status has caused in her relationship with Turner.
“It’s a struggle,” she admitted. “Dad is private, mom is public, and what does that make baby? It’s hard. With being public, you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Regardless of if I am not on Summer House or on Summer House, I’m still Lindsay from Summer House.”

The former publicist reconnected with Turner, a doctor who works in biotech investing, in January 2024 after they briefly dated in fall 2020. This followed Lindsay and her costar Carl Radke’s very public split that resulted in them ending their engagement at the end of summer 2023.
In July, Lindsay announced that she and Turner were expecting their first child together.
“Obviously, it was a surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning, but we had some honest conversations and it just felt so right for both of us,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I met my match with him.”
Lindsay and Turner learned of her pregnancy only months into dating, but the reality star said he felt “so excited to be a dad and proud to be having a child with me.”
“It just means the world to have someone like him by my side,” she continued. “And yes, it is a lot of pressure on a new relationship, but I think because he’s the right man because we are so bonded and connected and communicate very effectively with each other that it hasn’t felt like work.”

After Lindsay gave birth to Gemma in December, she told PEOPLE that Turner had been “by my side 24/7 for the entire past month” despite not living together.
“Even though technically this is my apartment, this is our HQ for the home of our daughter and me,” Lindsay said. “He basically brought over a bunch of clothes and toiletries and is essentially going between my apartment and his apartment, but rarely ever leaves me and Gemma.”
The Bravo personality said she and Turner had been discussing moving in together when her lease ended in June. Lindsay shared on social media in May that she moved into a new apartment, vacating the Manhattan spot she once shared with Carl, 40.
“If there’s anything that I’ve learned from my past, especially in my last relationship, it’s that nothing is guaranteed,” Lindsay said of moving in with Turner. “And when you get pregnant so quickly into dating, I didn’t want to put more pressure on our relationship than a pregnancy and a baby is already putting that — very big, lifelong pressure. I would love to say, ‘One step at a time.’ And, yes, it’s a little backwards and it’s a little out of order, but I wasn’t about to add to the to-do list.”
Rumors bubbled up earlier this year that Lindsay and Turner had broken up. However, Lindsay confirmed during a February episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that they were still together.
When asked about their next steps, Lindsay said, “I think we’re trying to figure that out. We got pregnant very quickly upon dating and it’s very challenging, even on the strongest of relationships.”

In the May 21 finale of Summer House, Lindsay gushed to her castmates Amanda and Paige DeSorbo about how helpful Turner had been with their daughter.
“Thank God for Turner,” Lindsay said. “I mean, he’s incredible, you guys. The things that this man has done, he’s the best guy that you could be in this situation with.”
Still, her fame has proved to be an issue since the beginning: “The one conflict we have is that he’s private and I’m public, and it causes a lot of turmoil because I don’t think he fully wrapped his mind around like, how public somebody is who’s on TV,” she told Amanda, 33, and Paige, 32.
“It’s like, I’m constantly trying to figure out like, okay, what is acceptable for him or not?” she added. “And it’s a big conversation that we’re having right now.”
Lindsay also acknowledged that getting pregnant early on in their relationship played a factor into trying to make it work with Turner.
“If I didn’t get pregnant, I don’t know if we would’ve stayed together,” she confessed. “Because for me it’s like, you know, I wouldn’t have compromised.”
