Stephen Colletti knows not to mess with the Swifties.
In PEOPLE’s digital cover, the Laguna Beach alum, 39, discusses going toe to toe with Taylor Swift’s soon-to-be mother-in-law Donna Kelce, 73, in season 4 of The Traitors and how she “had the strongest armor” going in to the game because of the pop superstar’s devoted fanbase.
“As soon as people started throwing her name around, everyone was like, ‘I don’t want to throw Donna’s name out there. The Swifties are going to come for me!'” Colletti says. “Everyone was afraid of the Swifties right off the jump.”
Despite her fellow players’ fears, Donna — the mom of football stars Travis and Jason Kelce — was banished after the roundtable vote in episode 3, confirming that she was the show’s first-ever secret Traitor.

“You got yourself a Traitor!” she told the group, prompting lots of cheers.
After being voted out, Donna said “playing a Traitor was tough, but I gave it my best shot.”
“This has been a dream come true,” she said through tears. “These are happy tears that I get to do this at this point in my life. It’s just the joy of being in the game.”

Along with Colletti, PEOPLE’s Traitors digital cover features his fellow breakout stars Candiace Dillard Bassett (The Real Housewives of Potomac), Rob Cesternino (Survivor), Monét X Change (RuPaul’s Drag Race) and Tara Lipinski (Olympic figure skater), who all had their own thoughts about competing with Donna.
“We quickly understood Donna knows reality TV,” says Monét, 35. “At first, she was like, ‘What’s a TV?’ I’m like, ‘Girl, you know what a TV is.'”

Rob, 47, says that Donna is “incredibly smart.”
“She’s a businesswoman,” he says. “People just think of her as Travis and Jason’s mom, but she’s actually really sharp.”
Candiace, 39, and Tara, 43, meanwhile, bonded with her about motherhood.
“[She’s] America’s mom,” says Candiace, who has 15-month-old son Jett with husband Chris Bassett. “We talked about how she liked to bake cookies and how she’s, like, a mom.”
Tara, who has daughter Georgie, 2, with husband Todd Kapostasy, adds: “We talked a lot about children. I love her.”
