Hutchins died on July 2 after being involved in an ATV accident.
That morning, Hutchins, who served as CEO and director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, was driving the ATV down a road near Jenner’s Malibu home when she crashed into the bumper of a moving vehicle carrying two passengers, TMZ reported at the time.
Hutchins and her ATV were forced over the shoulder and fell 350 feet down into a ravine, according to the outlet.
An officer of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department shared additional details about Hutchins’ ATV accident in an interview with the Daily Mail.
Sergeant Eduardo Saucedo told the outlet that Hutchins is believed to have been traveling too fast in a 2013 Polaris when she hit a gray 2016 Mazda 6 on Decker Canyon Road, near Jenner’s Malibu home.
“It looks like she may have been speeding and rear-ended the other car, the other party, and then that caused her to veer to the right and go off the cliff,” Saucedo explained.
Saucedo said a search and rescue team rappelled down the side of the cliff to recover Hutchins’ body, and that she was pronounced dead at the scene.

He noted that the passengers of the other vehicle were uninjured and that Jenner, 75, was at the accident site when authorities were on the scene.
Hutchins’ ATV was left at the bottom of the ravine because, as Saucedo said, the tow company “didn’t have a line that was long enough to attach it and pull it up.”
