NEED TO KNOW
Canada’s a party — and Snooki is about to find out.
Canada Shore, an all-new reality series from Paramount+, will see Jersey Shore icon Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi drop in on a 10-person friend group as they navigate the highs and lows of their summer getaway.
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the trailer for the new series, which premieres Jan. 22, and sees Snooki’s arrival take the roommates by surprise — and spice things up. In the extended preview, the group of 10 — who met for the first time after being cast on the show and spent the summer in Kelowna, B.C. in a house all together — are a messy bunch.
As Keyaira puts it: “The second these people get one drop of liquor, they’re like f—— wild animals.”

Their time together is “a pile of ups and downs,” says Bauer, as he calls their “family” dynamic a “divided” one.
As far as Snooki’s concerned, the group needs to act their age. “You guys are too grown for this,” she tells them in the trailer. “This is high school.”

The 10 cast members — Bauer, Christopher, Emmett, Emmy, Ethan, Gizelle, Isaiah, Keyaira, Lila and Ryleigh — all range from 20 to 26 and were “chosen from a nationwide casting call,” per the streamer.
“They’re ready to party, flirt, and turn every night into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. But between all the hookups and hangovers, this wild crew becomes a family that laughs together, fights together, and supports each other,” reads the official synopsis.
Snooki parties with the group while she’s there, but she also “hands out job duties” and shares her expertise from her own days on Jersey Shore. “I cannot wait for you guys to see me drop in on ten crazy Canadians as they party their way through the summer!” she said in a press release.

Snooki only makes a handful of guest appearances. When she’s not around, Kelowna native Dane Rupert will serve as her “eyes and ears on the ground, putting the roomies to work and keeping the chaos in check (or not!),” per the press release.
