Does Meri Brown have a new boyfriend?
In a clip from an upcoming episode of Sister Wives shared by Entertainment Tonight, the 54-year-old seemed to take things a step further in her blossoming relationship with Ron, who she met at a speed dating event earlier in season 20.
Ron joined Meri and her friends at a fundraising event, and she told cameras that she was “glad that Ron came” for the outing. “I think it’s cute that he’s just like, ‘Oh, what can I do to help?’ And he’s just helping,” she said.
Meri’s longtime best friend, Jenn Sullivan, who accompanied her during the dating event, called Ron a “really nice guy,” as she applauded his enthusiasm to help out. “As soon as Meri had mentioned that we were doing this, he’s like, ‘I’m down, I’ll be there,’ and I just love that,” she said.

“I thought he was a really nice guy when I first met him at speed dating,” Jenn continued. “And I thought, ‘You know what, [he and Meri] would get along really well’ — and they tend to, so it worked out really well.”
Ron also offered his thoughts on how things are going with Meri, who separated from her husband of 32 years, Kody Brown, in December 2022. “You know it’s different, dating in your 50s,” Ron said. “I’ve been on a lot of dates the last couple years, but I love it when you meet someone who’s genuine and very nice and easy to talk to.”
“With Meri, just her inviting me down here made me feel great, and she’s been great,” he said. “I can tell Meri’s just really genuine and just a great person.”

Meri was happy that Ron came along for the day. “It was super fun, it was a really good day — and Ron came and that was super fun too,” she said in a confessional.
The reality star said she loved being able to see how he interacts with those around her and how he fits “in my world.” She added, “And then also, do my friends like him? And I don’t know, he fits.”

Since her separation from Kody, with whom she shares her only child, Leon, 30, Meri has been publicly linked to just one other partner. In January 2024, she went Instagram official with Amos, who she revealed was the “good-looking guy I’ve been dating since October.”
The following month, she shared that she and Amos had broken up, but affirmed that she was looking forward “with the hope of new opportunities” and felt ready to embrace her new era. “This is a time in my life to prioritize me, my well-being, and my personal evolution, and I look forward to more adventures and experiences on this journey we call life!” she wrote in an Instagram post.
