Mercedes “MJ” Javid has filed for divorce from Tommy Feight.
According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, the Shahs of Sunset alum, 53, submitted her petition in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 17, which is also listed as their date of separation. Javid cited irreconcilable differences and asked that the court terminate its ability to award both she and Feight spousal support.

Javid further requested sole physical and legal custody of their 6-year-old son Shams, with Feight receiving visitation on Tuesdays after school until Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each week.
The docs state that if there is no school, exchanges take place on Tuesdays at 10 a.m., and “the parties can further mutually agree to any additional visits or modifications.”
Javid requests that “the exchanges are to take place at the minor’s school. In case that the minor does not have school, the exchanges shall take curbside at [Javid’s] place of work.”
For travel, Javid asks that Feight be ordered to “have written permission from the other parent or party, or a court order” to take their child out of California and the United States.
“I have been the parent primarily involved in the caregiving and overall needs of our minor son,” Javid wrote in her filing. “I take our son to school and pick him up every day. I also organize and take our son to his play-dates, parties, doctor’s, and dentist’s appointments. Likewise, I am responsible for his extracurricular activities and school activities with little to no involvement from [Feight].”
“My hours of employment are entirely within my control which allow me the flexibility to continue being primarily responsible for our son in this way,” she continued. “By no means, do I want to alienate [Feight] from our son and I am more than happy to mutually agree to additional visitations or modifications in the best interest of our son.”

Per the filing, the reality star indicated there would be a separate submission regarding finances and community property, which has not yet been determined.
A hearing for the divorce has been set for December. The court has ordered Javid and Feight to attend mediation to discuss custody and visitation later this month.
Javid and Feight tied the knot in April 2018 and welcomed their son one year later, in April 2019. The now-exes first met on Tinder and went on to get engaged in 2015 after over a year together.
