Serayah is embracing motherhood as her “greatest accomplishment.”
In a new Instagram post Monday, July 21, the 30-year-old actress shared a “Life Lately Dump” where she formally commented on the birth of her first child with her fiancé Joey Bada$$.
“2 months postpartum.. Wowww where do I begin??” her caption began. “First, I want to thank everyone who’s reached out to me, congratulated me and sent me love and support during this new chapter.”
The first photo in the dump showed the Empire star sitting on a sofa adorned with bouquets of colorful flowers. She smiled while holding a bouquet of white roses and wearing a comfy gray robe with a cake right in front of her.
“My family showed up and showed out ! Idk what I would do without them. I’m still shook, in total disbelief that I’m a mommy now,” her caption continued, adding, “This is the greatest accomplishment of my life thus far.”
Serayah also shared a photo with a friend, a video of a Rolex watch, and a photo of her hand stretching out to show a large diamond ring.
The subsequent photo showed her and the “Sorry Not Sorry” rapper, 30, smiling as they hugged each other.
The pair, whose full names are Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott and Serayah McNeill, went public with their relationship in 2023.
After reflecting on her journey thus far, the Kingdom Business actress thanked her partner for his unwavering support: “My fiancé has held it DOWN you hear me !”

In a joint interview with Essence published in May, Joey recalled the first time he met Serayah through mutual friends in 2021.
“I saw her and I remember thinking to myself like, ‘Wow, I’ve never seen a woman so beautiful,’ ” he said. “She was just strikingly gorgeous, and her aura was just kind of radiating.”
