Grab your eyeliner and fishnet tights! It’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night at Dancing with the Stars.
Eight couples remain in Week 8 of the competition, all vying to make it one step (or dance!) closer to taking home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
This week, the pairs will perform routines to some of rock ‘n’ roll’s biggest hits, including songs from Bon Jovi, Elton John and the late Ozzy Osbourne. Contestants will return to the dance floor once more for the fan-favorite team dance competition, which, for the first time ever, will also see the addition of cohosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough.
Team Kool — comprised of Hough, Andy Richter and Emma Slater, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten — will dance to a live performance of Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration.” They’ll go up against Team Chicago — made up of Ribeiro, Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, and Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach — who will dance to a live performance of Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4.”
Here’s everything to know about Dancing with the Stars’ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, including the songs and dances that the celebrity contestants are performing.

A few days before the episode, Efron shared an Instagram carousel of photos from rehearsals, writing that he spent “ALL DAY struggling with the basic steps of the jive.”
“Questioning why we chose this style, questioning if i’ll be able to learn the choreo in time if i’m still stuck on a basic step, and just being frustrated I can’t learn quicker,” he wrote. “But at the very end, I had a mini breakthrough and now I can’t fall asleep I’m so fired up 🤘🏼.”
He continued, “Besides show days, this is the best part of @dancingwiththestars . That constant battle of feeling like i’ll never be able to do something, and that moment where it all begins to click. Thanks for your patience Dani, now I’m really excited for this dance.”
