The Tim Tam Slam is making its stateside debut thanks to two professional slammers, actresses Isla Fisher and Sarah Snook.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, Snook, 37, who was promoting her new Peacock series All Her Fault, brought the Australian cookies, or “biscuits,” to The Tonight Show and gave host Jimmy Fallon a tutorial on how to use a Tim Tam as a straw with a mug of tea.
During Snook’s demonstration, they each bit off one corner of the chocolate-covered cookie (that’s filled with chocolate cream), then bit off another diagonally on the opposite end.

“Are we just eating cookies together?” Fallon, 51, asked as his in-house band played in the background. The Succession star then instructed the host to “use it as a straw” as they dipped their cookies into the tea.
“Now bite it before it falls apart,” Snook instructed, and to Fallon’s surprise, it all came together perfectly.
“Weird, it’s totally working,” he exclaimed, and then added, “It’s totally soft and yummy, oh my god!”
The host called the treat “a game changer” and said he’ll never forget the moment he slammed his first Tim Tam.
Kelly Clarkson had a similar experience learning “the proper way” to eat the cookie on the Friday, Nov. 7 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Fisher, who was there to promote her new film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, taught Clarkson the art of the Tim Tam Slam.
After the actress, 49, poured milk into both of their teas, she gave Clarkson, 43, a bit of lore on the famous Australian treat.
“So Tim Tams have been around for probably like 60 years, and they are the greatest thing that’s ever happened to the country,” Fisher said. She then gave Clarkson the same bite guidance that Snook gave Fallon before “the dunk.”

“We’re gonna dunk?” asked Clarkson, to which Fisher cheekily replied, “Well, we’re gonna suck and dunk.” Then they both went in to use the cookie as a straw; however, after realizing she didn’t take the second bite correctly, the singer bit her cookie in half and tried again with the bit she had left.
“Don’t try this on a date or while wearing a white dress,” Fisher said. “Then when it’s all wet in the middle, you stick the whole thing in your mouth,” to which Clarkson said jokingly, “You have got to stop talking!”
After attempting to “be a lady” with her dress, the talk show host attempted the bite again, and this time, the trick worked and she quickly put the remaining cookie in her mouth as instructed.

After a few seconds of chewing, Clarkson simply let out a slow “wow” and noted, “It changed the chemistry, it just melted. Also, the wafer thing changed.”
“Aussie, Aussie, Aussie,” said Fisher, who then added that the trick can be done with any hot drink, including coffee, because the temperature is needed to melt it all together.
To close the segment, Clarkson looked down and realized she had cookie dust on her fingers and said, “I’m not going to lick it. I’m gonna be a lady,” and looked to the camera before saying, “but I would.”

Both of the stars are promoting new projects that pair nicely with a little sweet treat. Snook, on the heels of receiving a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her role in The Picture of Dorian Gray, is also starring in the new mystery thriller, All Her Fault.
During her acceptance speech for her Tony win, the proud Aussie stated, “This means so much for a little Australian girl to be here on Broadway. [The Picture of Dorian Gray] is billed as a one-person show, and I don’t feel alone any night that I do this show. There are so many people on stage making it work and behind the stage making it work.”
Fisher is on her own exciting run with the third installment of the heist movie series, Now You See Me. The actress, who’s reprising her role as Henley Reeves, spoke with PEOPLE last month about the production process, calling it “such a joy.”
“Coming back felt a little like a family reunion — maybe a dysfunctional family,” she said at the time. “We already had this incredible shorthand, so slipping back into that dynamic was easy and really fun.”
She continued, “But at the same time, enough years have passed that it felt fresh and new, almost like rediscovering the magic all over again. I missed my mates and love hanging out with them.”
All Her Fault is streaming now on Peacock, while Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will premiere in theaters on Friday, Nov. 14.
