Rose Byrne is getting candid about her relationship with longtime partner Bobby Cannavale.
In a new interview with The Washington Post, published Monday, Nov. 10, the actress, 46, revealed she considers herself married to The Watcher star, 55, even though they are yet to walk down the aisle.
Bryne and Cannavale have been together since 2012 and share two sons together: Rocco, 9, and Rafa, 8.
“I say ‘married,’ ” she said of her relationship. “We just haven’t gone to the courthouse yet, but we’re married.”
Speaking about how Cannavale gets noticed in public more than her in their New York City neighborhood, she said, “They recognize Bobby. Bobby’s hard to miss.”
“I feel like he’s the most identifiable person on the street. Him and Robert De Niro,” she added.

The couple first met in 2012 through a mutual friend and were spotted holding hands at the season launch party of Portlandia at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City in December 2012.
They then made their red carpet debut on June 3, 2013, at the CFDA Fashion Awards in N.Y.C., per E! Online.
Back in 2019, Bryne opened up about keeping their romance out of the limelight.
“I mean, [press is] not something we do all the time, but we’re trying to go with the flow,” she told Vanity Fair. “We’re generally pretty private.”

“We couldn’t be from more different parts of the world, you know?” she told InStyle in 2017. “When something is special, it’s hard to articulate it, but I feel really lucky.” (While Byrne was born in Australia, Cannavale is from Australia.)
She also added to Vulture in 2020 that she is “a little bit more moment to moment” while Cannavale is “the planner in the family.”
