NEED TO KNOW
Reneé Rapp has made her Austin City Limits debut!
PEOPLE can exclusively share performance clips from an all-new episode of Austin City Limits TV featuring the singer and Mean Girls star, who opened her set with a performance of her track “Leave Me Alone,” which she joked was essentially “slam poetry.”
For the show — which airs Saturday, Jan. 17 on PBS, with full episodes available to stream at pbs.org/austincitylimits and on the free PBS App — Rapp, 26, serenaded fans on a dimly lit stage while wearing a black dress with intricate beading and sequin in different shades of blue and green.

“Austin, this next song is called ‘I Think I Like You Better When You’re Gone,'” the singer said of the penultimate track on her setlist, also off of her Bite Me album.
The crowd cheered her on, eager to hear what she had in store.
“I’d really love if you’d sing it with me. How does that sound?” Rapp asked, earning even more applause.
“Can do? Oh perfect, thank God,” she joked before beginning the ballad during her seven-song set of back-to-back bangers.

An Oct. 23, 2025 post to her Instagram account showed the entertainer in the same look as seen in her performance. “everything’s bigger in texas,” she captioned the carousel.
Rapp’s ACL TV episode is part of an all-new lineup that will also feature 2026 multiple Grammy nominee Leon Thomas in an hourlong season finale on Feb. 7.
