Three new Horsemen have entered the Now You See Me franchise!
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, which hit theaters on Nov. 14, introduces a younger group of magicians — Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith and Dominic Sessa — to the iconic Four Horsemen group.
The film, which is the third installment in the Now You See Me franchise, also stars the original Four Horsemen, played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco. The movie follows the original group as they “unite with a new generation of illusionists for their most global, high-stakes magical adventure yet,” a synopsis teases.
“I love the dynamic with the new Horseman,” Eisenberg told PEOPLE in November 2025. “My character is already kind of a condescending guy, and teaching these young kids brought out an extra level of condescension. They were so great to play off of — they’re funny and very quick. They certainly knew how to fight back.”
Meanwhile, Smith also applauded the original cast members for being “welcoming” and making sure they all felt comfortable and confident on set.
“They really didn’t have to be as welcoming as they were,” Smith said. “They were all constantly checking in on us, teaching us their inside jokes and games, and making sure we felt like we belonged. It was one of my favorite sets to be on.”
In addition to the three young newbies, Rosamund Pike also joins the franchise as an evil diamond heiress. Meanwhile, Morgan Freeman reprises his role as Thaddeus Bradley.
Here’s everything to know about the new actors starring in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

Sessa stars in the Now You See Me franchise for the first time as Bosco, the leader of the new group of magicians.
In the trailer, he pretends to be Atlas in front of an audience and even tells his fellow magicians, “My Atlas was spot on.”
Sessa teased his role to PEOPLE and said that Bosco is the “risk taker” of the group.
“It felt very surreal,” he said. “I was a big fan of the first two movies when I was younger. It felt like jumping into one of your favorite movies and meeting the characters in real life.”
Sessa became a breakout star when he made his acting debut in the 2023 film The Holdovers. He won a Critics’ Choice Movie Award for the role and was nominated for a BAFTA Award.
Sessa’s acting career seems to just be getting started, as he was also cast as the late chef Anthony Bourdain in the biopic Tony.

Greenblatt is making her Now You See Me debut as June, the only woman in the new group of three magicians. She described her character to PEOPLE as the “underestimated one — but it works out in her favor.”
“She’s not attention-seeking or a geek in any way, but she knows what she’s doing and is always a few steps ahead,” she said. “June’s a fighter and uses her height to her advantage to be sneaky and nimble.”
Greenblatt also revealed that the three characters “bonded quite quickly” by doing escape rooms together while filming in Budapest.
“We did loads of escape rooms together and would go on adventures in the city quite a lot,” she said. “Dom and I ended up being next-door neighbors during production. There were quite a few nights where we were eating mac and cheese and watching Netflix together.”
Greenblatt took the new role seriously and told Nylon prior to filming in August 2024 that she had enrolled at the Magic Castle — an academy for magic enthusiasts.
“I’ve been at the Magic Castle every other day, learning magic,” she told the outlet. “My magic teacher is so awesome; he is one of the best ones. So I get to know all the magician tea.”
Greenblatt got her acting start in the Disney Channel TV show Stuck in the Middle in 2016, but she rose to fame in 2023 when she played America Ferrera’s daughter in the blockbuster film Barbie.
Greenblatt has also had prominent roles in 65, In the Heights and Ahsoka.
Justice Smith as Charlie

Smith rounds out the new group of magicians and plays Charlie. He described his character as “the ultimate magic fanatic, but he’s better behind-the-scenes than in the spotlight.”
“His expertise lies in the technical aspect of magic, designing the New Horsemen’s tricks,” he explained to PEOPLE.
Off-camera, Smith said he “love[s] Ariana and Dominic to death” and was thankful for their “natural rhythm with each other right off the bat.”
Smith landed his first acting gig in 2014 when he appeared on the Nickelodeon comedy series, The Thundermans.
He went on to act in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), Detective Pikachu (2019) and All The Bright Places (2020) alongside Elle Fanning.

Pike is in her villain era.
The actress is making her Now You See Me debut as the wealthy leader of the Vanderberg crime family.
“For decades, the Vanderbergs have been selling diamonds to warlords, arms dealers, traffickers to help launder their money,” Atlas tells his fellow magicians in the Now You See Me: Now You Don’t trailer.
Vanderberg immediately goes to war with the Four Horsemen after they try to steal her beloved “heart jewel.” She’s seen meeting with fellow criminals and loading a gun in the teaser.
Off-screen, Pike has been dating Robie Uniacke since around 2009 and the pair share two children.
