Tim Burton fans rejoice! PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the return of the Disney “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail” to the New York Botanical Garden this fall.
But that’s not all, Texas Performing Arts will also host the trail in Austin at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
Following the success of last year’s experience, fans of the 1993 cult-classic animated film can once again walk through their favorite scenes in real life.
Join Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero and more on a stroll down a magically illuminated trail, surrounded by songs from the movie and the natural botanical beauty the gardens have to offer.

The entire display spans more than 8,300 square feet and features cutting-edge light installations including interactive video projections, intelligent LED lighting and 3D printed sculptures of the characters. But there’s more to see this year as the team is adding even more scenes to enjoy.
“We’re coming back better than ever this year,” said Jeffrey Seller, the founder of Adventureland, the production team that created the trail alongside LETSGO and Buena Vista Theatrical. “We took everything we learned from our first year to make an even more exciting experience: A longer trail, more surprises, and better hospitality. You’re going to want to come early or stay late for hot cider, beer, and wine, or some of the delicious snacks we’re assembling.”

“Following the overwhelming success of the light trail in New York City we’re thrilled to bring this extraordinary experience to Austin, Texas,” said LETSGO Founder, Iñaki Fernández. “Now more people than ever will have the chance to step into the spellbinding world of Tim Burton.”
The return of the trail also comes with the merchandise “BOOths.” This year, Creative Goods Design & Supply created custom t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, bags and more.

The experience is available for 10 weeks only for both locations. Operating hours are from dusk to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesdays through Sundays beginning Sept. 25 through Nov. 30.
