Beyoncé fans got the ultimate surprise at her latest Cowboy Carter tour date.
On Thursday, June 19, Miley Cyrus made a surprise appearance at the 35-time Grammy winner’s concert in Paris’ Stade de France where the pair performed their Grammy-winning duet “II Most Wanted”
The “Flowers” hitmaker, 32, appeared on the stage in a gold, Alexander McQueen jumpsuit alongside the “16 Carriages” musician, 43, who sported a gold bodysuit as they performed the live debut of their duet.
Cyrus shared a series of Instagram posts and videos with a sweet tribute to Beyoncé.
“@beyonce to be beside such a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA was a dream come true,” the “End of the World” artist began the first post. “Thank you for the opportunity to perform in Paris together & sing our song about friendship.”
She continued: “To have learned from you & loved you my whole life, & then be standing together in matching gold looks is more than I could’ve imagined. As the finale to this trip supporting Something Beautiful, to close on something as beautiful as a stadium full of people singing “II Most Wanted” with us was the ultimate firework.”
“Thank you B. I’ll be your shotgun rider for life. Big gratitude to the Cowboy Carter tour crew, you all were incredible for making this happen. Forever and always,” Cyrus concluded.
In a follow-up Instagram post, the “Easy Lover” performer shared close-ups of her and the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer on stage at the show.
“II Most Wanted. Je t’aime pour toujours @beyonce,” she wrote, which translates to “I love you forever.”
Cyrus then shared another series of photos and videos on Instagram, including clips from before their set.
“Je t’aime Paris & @beyonce,” she wrote, which translates to “I love you Paris.”
In the second video, Cyrus flaunts her outfit with a cheeky rhyme.
“Little ol’ me showin’ up in Paris in Alexander McQueen for Queen Bey, what?” she teased, while doing a catwalk backstage.
On June 20, the “Cuff It” artist also shared a series of images from her duet with Cyrus on Instagram.
“II Most Wanted” was featured on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, which was released in March 2024 and won a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group performance.
Cyrus opened up about the making of “II Most Wanted” in a June 2024 cover story interview with W Magazine, which she called “a dream come true.”

“I wrote that song, like, two and a half years ago,” she told the outlet. “My mom would always go, ‘I love that song so much.'”
Cyrus added: “So when Beyoncé reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away because it really encompasses our relationship.”
“I told her, ‘We don’t have to get country; we are country. We’ve been country.’ I said, ‘You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song,'” she concluded.
