When Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated film Frankenstein makes its global release later this year, there will be no shortage of bling on the screen.
For the first time, iconic jewelry house Tiffany & Co. is bringing together rare archival masterworks and contemporary high jewelry to film, according to a press release.
Twenty-seven Tiffany & Co. jewels and objects — including necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, brooches, pendants, sterling silver objects, a hair comb and a pocket watch — will be featured in the movie, whose costume design was helmed by Kate Hawley.
10 of the pieces are historic jewels, six are archival silver objects, six are contemporary creations and five are original pieces designed specifically for the production.

One of the necklaces (from circa 1900), has an estimated carat weight of 40.45 carats of European cut diamonds set in gold and platinum.
Nearly every jewel is worn by Mia Goth, who plays Victor Frankenstein’s love interest, Elizabeth Lavenza. For the film’s recent Venice Film Festival premiere, the actress also dazzled in a Christian Dior gown paired with a Tiffany & Co. necklace featuring gold and platinum with diamonds and emeralds.

In a video shared by Variety from the premiere, Goth can be seen embracing an emotional Jacob Elordi, who plays “the Creature” in the movie.
The film is an adaption of Mary Shelley’s 1818 classic novel of the same name, which follows scientist Victor Frankenstein as he “brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation,” per a logline.
“From the moment that I was born to being here with you today, all of it is in that character,” Elordi said about his transformation into his character during a press conference. “And in so many ways, the creature that’s on screen in this movie is the sort of purest form of myself.”
Frankenstein is in theaters Oct. 17 and on Netflix Nov. 7.
