Are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry eyeing a return Down Under?
On Nov. 12, Australian celebrity astrologer Angela Pearl shared a new photo with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their recent visit to New York City — along with a letter from the couple hinting at plans to visit Australia.
A return to Oz would be significant for Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44. It would mark their first visit since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and relocating to California — a homecoming of sorts to a country that welcomed them with massive crowds on their first royal tour across the Commonwealth realm in 2018.

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, Pearl, who is also a motivational speaker and author, posted a previously unseen photo of herself with Harry and Meghan on Instagram, along with a letter from the couple on stationery bearing their joint royal monogram.
“Still in awe of this special evening. Thank you, Prince Harry and Meghan, for the warm invitation and inspiring conversation,” she wrote in the caption.
The photo was taken the same day the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out for dinner in New York City during their World Mental Health Day–related visit. On Oct. 12, the couple was photographed in the same outfits as they left the members-only Soho House with friend Ed Sheeran.
Pearl also shared a second image — a photo of the couple’s letter, partially redacted.

The letter, marked “Personal Correspondence” and dated Oct. 24, 2025, began simply: “Dear Angela.”
“We wanted to thank you for joining us…(redacted). Your energy and insight were such a welcome addition,” the message read.
While a portion of the note was blacked out, the next visible line hinted at the couple’s future travel plans.
“On a separate note, we hope your family in Ukraine remain safe, and we look forward to staying in touch especially as we look to visit Australia again,” it said.
The letter closed with “Best wishes,” followed by the signatures of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

In October 2018, the newly married Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on a 16-day tour of Australia and New Zealand — their first major royal tour as a couple. The long-haul trip quickly became sentimental, too: during the visit, the palace announced that Meghan was expecting their first child, son Prince Archie, now 6. (The couple later welcomed daughter Princess Lilibet, now 4, in 2021.)
In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal roles and moved to the U.S. and in 2024, made a return to travel reminiscent of royal tours with trips to Nigeria and Colombia, where they explored the best of local culture and carried out work with their charitable Archewell Foundation.
A possible return to Australia would be notable. King Charles and Queen Camilla toured the country in 2024, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said in September that he hopes Prince William and Kate Middleton will visit soon as well.
The possibility of an Australia trip would make a statement, as King Charles and Queen Camilla toured Oz in 2024 and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese voiced a hope in September that Prince William and Kate Middleton will visit soon, as well.
