Quarterback takes fans deep into the gridiron grind, but the real MVPs are the partners who cheer players on from the sidelines.
Season 2 of the Netflix docuseries — which premiered on July 8 — offers audiences an all‑access pass through the 2024–25 NFL season. It follows three quarterbacks — the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow, the Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff and the Atlanta Falcons’ Kirk Cousins — as they navigate life on the field.
The series also gives fans a sneak peek into the home lives of their favorite players. Kirk has been married to wife Julie Hampton Cousins since 2014, while Goff wed Christen Harper Goff in 2024. Meanwhile, Burrow is rumored to be dating model Olivia Ponton.
“I just want Kirk to feel valued,” Julie said in the docuseries. “He works so hard, and sometimes people forget how much pressure he’s under.”

Kirk Cousins and Julie Hampton Cousins

Kirk has been married to his wife, Julie, for more than a decade.
The couple met through a mutual family friend in 2012 — the same year Kirk was drafted into the NFL, according to The Washington Post. Kirk proposed just over a year later, and the couple wed on June 28, 2014.
Kirk and Julie share two children: son Cooper, who was born on Sept. 29, 2017, and son Turner, who arrived on March 10, 2019.
That same year, the pair launched the Julie & Kirk Cousins Foundation, a nonprofit built on a philosophy of “transforming worldly resources into heavenly riches through extravagant generosity.” The foundation works with a number of other organizations, including Bethany Christian Services, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the International Justice Mission.
Kirk and Julie also own the Clearbrook Golf Club in Saugatuck, Mich., which they purchased in 2022.

Jared met Christen, a model and actress, in 2019 on Raya, a membership-based dating app.
“We just hit it off right away. They won a million games [that season]. I was a good luck charm, obviously,” Christen said in Quarterback season 2.
Jared proposed to the model while on vacation with friends in June 2022, and the couple wed two years later on June 22, 2024, in Ojai, Calif.
Christen is currently pregnant with the pair’s first child, a baby girl.
“I’m looking forward to becoming a dad,” Jared told PEOPLE in February 2025. “I can’t wait to watch [Christen] be a mom.”
The soon-to-be mom added: “I know he’s going to be the best [dad], and it’s just gonna be exciting to do this together as a team.”
Joe Burrow and Olivia Ponton

Burrow is rumored to be dating Ponton, a Sports Illustrated model and influencer.
Speculation about their relationship began in early December 2024 when a police report revealed that Ponton had reported a burglary at Burrow’s Ohio home. He was in Texas playing against the Dallas Cowboys at the time of the incident.
“Someone broke into my house,” the model can be heard saying in police audio obtained by TMZ. “It’s completely messed up.”
The police report described Ponton as an employee of Burrow’s, but an insider told PEOPLE that the pair had been “hooking up” since early fall.
“They are keeping it casual,” the source added.
In May 2025, Burrow and Ponton were spotted together publicly for the first time in Miami. However, the model refused to comment on their romance when TMZ caught up with her in New York City that same month.
