Margot Robbie’s baby boy is not shying away from using his voice.
In an interview with Access Hollywood ahead of the release of the actress’ upcoming film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, her 10-month-old son started crying in the background. “I’m so sorry about that … how loud my baby is,” Robbie, 35, told the outlet with a laugh, while her costar Colin Farrell added, “It’s a great soundtrack, isn’t it?”
Robbie continued laughing while host Scott Evans paused the interview to ask the actress about her motherhood journey.
“Literally, every time, I go, ‘That’s my baby,’ ” the Barbie star said, before telling Farrell, “You’ve been there while he’s been growing.”
The Asteroid City star welcomed her first child with husband Tom Ackerley on Oct. 17, 2024.
A source confirmed to PEOPLE in November that the couple welcomed their baby boy, whose name remains private. The source also noted that the couple were loving spending time with their baby in Los Angeles.

“Margot has several projects lined up next year. She wants to rest now and spend time with the baby,” the insider continued. “She’s enjoying motherhood.”
“They’ve both been settling into being parents,” the source added, revealing at the time, “They’re homebodies, so it’s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him. They’re so happy.”

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Aug. 20, Robbie offered rare comments about her little one.
“It’s funny, you try to explain to someone who has kids, you don’t need to because they get it,” she told the outlet. “And if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear.”
“It’s the best,” she said.
In A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, Robbie and Farrell, 49, play play single strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding, only to quickly find themselves in the midst of a surreal journey, where they “re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present — and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures,” per a synopsis.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey hits theaters on Sept. 19.
