NEED TO KNOW
Madelyn Cline and KJ Apa are following a map to romance in their new movie.
The Map That Leads to You stars Cline, 27, as Heather, a young woman on a fun-filled European adventure whose chance encounter with Apa’s Jack alters the trajectory of her life.
A newly released trailer for the adaptation of the novel by J.P. Monninger shows Apa, 28, reading from the journal his great-grandfather used to chronicle his global travels. “If you take the wrong path,” he recites, “you can miss it and regret it all your life.”
Cline’s Heather likes “to know what’s next,” she admits, planning a specific itinerary for her travels. “I know you think it’s crazy,” says Apa as Jack, “but what would happen if you didn’t catch your flight today?”
