NEED TO KNOW
Love Island USA’s Nic Vansteenberghe has his sights set on his next reality show.
The 24-year-old, who was the runner-up alongside Olandria Carthen on season 7 of the hit Peacock series this summer, told Glamour that he’s hoping to compete on Dancing with the Stars next season.
He’s “manifesting” a spot on the ballroom competition series, he said, teasing, “I’m going to start training soon.”
“I just want to dance,” Vansteenberghe said. He also promised that he would stand out amongst the competition, should he appear next season.
“The progression would be insane. I would win most improved.”

Aside from Dancing with the Stars, Vansteenberghe said he’s open to starring on a lot of other reality shows — with one exception.
“I’m down for anything but a dating show,” he quipped.
If he were to join season 35 of Dancing with the Stars, Vansteenberghe would be the first Love Island contestant to compete on the show.

He also opened up to the outlet about how he’s adjusting to the fame he’s gained since Love Island USA ended in July.
“I’ve integrated it into my norm now. It’s kind of white noise when someone comes to ask for a picture,” he said. “I expect it every time. But it’s nice.”
There are times when it’s more challenging, though. “If you’re on a date or you’re with your family, that’s where it gets a bit weird,” he said.
