NEED TO KNOW
Are you ready to say “I do” to another season of Love Is Blind?
On Monday, Sept. 15, Netflix dropped the trailer for the season 9 of the reality dating series, with this highly anticipated season featuring singles from the Denver, Colorado area as they search for their one true love in the pods before entering the real world with the goal of walking down the aisle.
The trailer begins with this season’s hopefuls declaring what love should feel like, with answers ranging from “vulnerable,” “fiery,” “spontaneous,” “passionate,” “secure” and, of course, “crazy.”
In the pods, Annie, a 31-year-old hair salon owner, declares: “I wanna be engaged in a week. Like, I’m getting married.” Edmond, a 29-year-old realtor, is then shown in a separate scene, asking, “You wanna have my babies?”

Another moment shows 28-year-old Madison, a UX/UI designer, telling one man she’s always wanted three children, only for 30-year-old service manager Jordan to respond to her with: “So, I actually got snipped.”
Babies aren’t the only thing being discussed in the pods as Patrick, a 31-year-old construction manager, asks Kacie, a 34-year-old hair and makeup stylist, if she’s ever dated an Asian man before. She admits, “No, I haven’t,” which prompts Patrick to laugh.
Anna, 28, also admits that appearance is a factor as the hairstylist tells cameras, “I wouldn’t have given a chance in the outside world but in here, I feel so comfortable.”

There are proposals on the horizon, but there’s also heartbreak.
One participant, 32-year-old Kait, a registered dietitian, tells a guy, “If you said ‘I love you’ to two separate people, that’s not love,” while another woman can be heard saying, “Something in my gut is telling me this isn’t right.”
As the drama shifts to the reveals and the real-world, lots of tears unfold and tensions rise as wedding dates approach. Onscreen text also hints that some of the couples will be “blindsided.”
“He really had me convinced that he was gonna be my husband,” one woman says, as 29-year-old Joe, who works in sales, is confronted with the fact that their weddings are in “three weeks.”
Netflix
“You’re the one that is asking me to leave now,” 31-year-old hair salon owner Annie says at one point.
In another scene, Joe gets up and leaves, telling the cameras, “I gotta get out of here. I can’t do this.”
It appears that one guy’s “drinking” and “partying” could potentially be the downfall of a relationship and lifestyles clash as 28-year-old Nick, a luxury watch dealer, says to his partner, “You’re looking for reasons to doubt us.”
At one point, one woman tearfully confesses that her potential husband “didn’t even fight for me” and Nick tells another man that his girl “is totally gaslighting you.”
A woman can also be heard saying, “He has completely broken my heart.”
Netflix
There are happy moments, too, with one woman gushing, “I feel like I could scream and laugh and cry all at once,” and one guy saying, “God has put us on this path together.”
In the ultimate cliffhanger, one woman declares, “At the altar, the truth will come out.”
