Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott are giving fans a glimpse of their romance.
While the One Direction alum and the British TV personality have been romantically linked since March 2025, their relationship was made Instagram official on Monday, Aug. 4 with a PDA-packed selfie shared by McDermott.
The photo sees Tomlinson holding the camera with his arm stretched out and a smile (plus sunglasses) on his face while they kiss one another with McDermott holding a hand on his cheek. She captioned the post with a red heart emoji.
McDermott’s post came hours after she wished Louis’ sister, Lottie, a happy birthday on her Instagram Stories, as the model turned 27 on Monday, Aug. 4.

Tomlinson and McDermott first sparked romance rumors after they were seen on a romantic getaway to Aldeburgh, Suffolk, in March, according to MetroUK.
Shortly after, fans were quick to notice the pair each posted on their Instagram Stories from the same location in the crowd during a Stereophonics concert on April 8.
Two days later, McDermott seemed to confirm their relationship with an Instagram Stories soft launch: a photo over breakfast, with a glimpse of Tomlinson’s signature cross tattoo peeking out of the upper-left corner — which fans immediately recognized.

Previously, Tomlinson’s most public romance was his on-again, off-again relationship with model Eleanor Calder from 2011 to 2022. Following their split, Tomlinson dated Briana Jungwirth — with whom he shares son Freddie — and Danielle Campbell.
McDermott was in a high-profile relationship with fellow British TV personality Sam Thompson. The former pair, who shared much of their relationship on Made in Chelsea, dated for five years before they reportedly split in December 2024.
