Lizzo showed off her midriff in a series of sexy photos wearing a sparkly crop top and asymmetrical ruffled miniskirt. While the shots have more than 110,000 likes, Lizzo has one regret about them.
“Ugh I never [pick] the right cover pic… I lowkey think #2 woulda been better 🤪🤪🤪🤪,” she wrote about the order of the photos, which show the “Love in Real Life” singer, 37, posing in a shimmery crop top and miniskirt in a hallway.
The pics, posted Sept. 1 to Instagram, earned rave reviews and heart-eye emojis from her fans in the comments — which included some famous names. Paris Hilton commented “😍” on the pic, while Fifth Harmony alum Lauren Jauregui said, “😍😍😍.”
Lizzo (née Melissa Viviane Jefferson) recently opened up about her ongoing fitness and weight loss journey for the cover of Women’s Health U.K.’s September issue.
“I like how I look now,” Lizzo told the outlet. “I still think I’m big. I’m still wearing plus-size clothing. I have the same rolls. I got the same belly, the same thighs – I think I’m just a smaller version.”
“Body positivity has nothing to do with staying the same,” she continued. “Body positivity is the radical act of daring to exist loudly and proudly in a society that told you you shouldn’t exist.”
She previously denied claims that she was on weight-loss drugs, explaining, “I work my ass off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit.”

Lizzo also shared that she’d cut “sugary Starbucks & full fat sodas & potato chips” from her diet.
In January, the “Good as Hell” singer said she’d hit her weight-loss goal, saying “I haven’t seen this number since 2014!” and shared a note of encouragement to her fans: “Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to.”
