Lindsay Lohan continues to pay homage to her earlier roles!
On Thursday, July 31, the actress, 39, attended the London premiere of her latest movie, Freakier Friday — the sequel to the 2003 fan favorite 2003 Freaky Friday. At the event, she paid homage to her role as Anna Coleman and donned a bejeweled sheath gown that resembled her character’s final costume in the original film.
In Freaky Friday, Lohan’s Anna performs with her band Pink Slip at her mother Tess Coleman’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) wedding, and wears a lilac gown with white lace details on the hem, her waist and across her bust.
Lohan’s stylist, Andrew Mukamal, styled Lohan for Thursday’s event in what appeared to be a modern twist on the dress. This time, she donned a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin design. Unlike the original costume, the lace detailing features white and silver gemstones across the hem, with intricate designs on her hips and on the straps.
She paired it with a vintage Judith Leiber bag, which was modeled after a red electric guitar — just like the one in the final scene. She also accessorized with a pair of diamond drop earrings and her engagement ring.

Lohan’s makeup was subdued, drawing all attention to the costume replica. Her long blonde hair was in a loose blowout, while her makeup was a soft, neutral look, which included a light pink blush, a neutral matte lipstick and a pinkish nude eyeshadow look.
Additionally, following the U.K. premiere, Mukamal posted a series of Instagram Stories sharing photos of Lohan at the event as well as her character in the inspiration dress.
Mukamal added an Instagram carousel of the 2003 dress and the 2025 custom design. “ANNA💜COLEMAN,” he simply captioned it.

This isn’t the first time Lohan gave a nod to a previous role. Earlier this week, the actress saluted the fashions that were featured in her first-ever film, The Parent Trap.
On Monday, July 28, she appeared on Good Morning America in a yellow outfit that recalled Annie James’ British preppy yellow cardigan outfit in the 1998 movie, which she said had “a Freakier Friday twist.”
Lohan also wore a two-piece coordinating set in a trendy butter yellow. The set, from Balmain’s pre-spring 2026 collection by Olivier Rousteing, consisted of a tweed jacket with a white and black plaid pattern and a matching miniskirt.
She accessorized the look with oversized tortoiseshell sunglasses, a yellow headband, a black leather Hermés Birkin bag, Jessica McCormack 2ct Diamond & White Gold Gypset Hoop Earrings and bright yellow heels. Both looks in the movie were accessorized with a headband to keep her hair out of her face.

The Mean Girls star also gave a nod to her other character in the 1997 movie, Hallie Parker. During her appearance on Live with Kelly & Mark Monday, she wore a fitted Roberto Cavalli cheongsam-inspired minidress in a burst of colors.
The dress featured a mandarin collar, a waist-cinching corset and a bold pattern that contained tropical birds, flowers and tree branches. Lohan accessorized with brown tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses and a hot pink mini bag. In The Parent Trap, Lohan wore a pale pink cheongsam-inspired minidress with a tiny matching purse.
