NEED TO KNOW
The times may forever change but that doesn’t mean Kylie Jenner’s “baddie” status has to!
In her cover story with Dazed magazine, published on Friday, May 30, the mom of two, 27, reflected on her “baddie” era. She noted that she’s seen comments from fans pointing out her style change, most notably since she’s been romantically involved with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.
“That’s so funny, I’ve seen that before too, and I’m always like, first of all, the baddie never left,” she began. “I wear a latex dress at least once a week. Like, where do you guys think the baddie went? People saw me in a flowy dress once in my life, and they were like, ‘She’s gone!’ I wore a sundress once in Palm Springs, you know – like, can a girl wear a sundress once?”
The Kardashians star made an undeniable mark with her 2016 King Kylie era, when her style mostly consisted of dramatic makeup, blue hair extensions, 10 Cartier gold bracelets stacked on each arm and more. When asked what should be the name of her current style era, Jenner replied with a playful tone.

“Oh, my goodness. This is the original baddie era” she replied.
Jenner’s comments about her style come after her May 28 Harper’s Bazaar interview, in which she revealed why she often changed her hair so much in the 2010s.
“I think that I’m kind of a chameleon with my style,” Jenner told the outlet. “I love to play. I’ve been like that since I was 16.”
“I changed my hair color like once a week and cut my hair off and then put a wig on or put extensions in; and I’ve always switched up my style,” she continued. “It’s just a part of who I am, and that definitely bleeds into Khy.”

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum also explained to the outlet why she wore black dresses throughout awards season while supporting the A Complete Unknown star, 29, at his events, including the 2025 Oscars.
“I think a black dress is also kind of like, not too attention-grabbing in the best way,” she said. “You can never go wrong with a black dress.”

When she isn’t wearing an all-black dress for an awards show with Chalamet, Jenner can be seen coordinating outfits courtside with the actor. On Thursday, May 29, the couple watched the New York Knicks defeat the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden in New York City while wearing complementary ensembles.
