Kristin Cavallari is learning that mum’s the word when it comes to NSFW topics.
Although The Hills alum has been notoriously candid when detailing her sex life, she noted that as her kids Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11 and Saylor, 10—whom she shares with ex Jay Cutler—get older, she’s realized she has to be more restrained.
“This is actually the one thing that made me be like, ‘Whoa, I need to watch whatever I’m saying,’” Kristin, 39, shared during the Jan. 20 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, going on to recall a moment with 25-year-old now-ex-boyfriend Mark Estes. “Their friends said they saw—he and I played a drinking game or something on the podcast—and they saw some of the sexual stuff we were talking about.”
As she put it, “I was like, ‘Whoa.’ That made me really pause and think that more than ever now I need to start being careful.”
Indeed, Kristin emphasized that she doesn’t care what “Jane in Kansas thinks,” about what she details on her podcast, but noted that when it comes to her kids, “I can’t be saying stuff that’s going to affect them and their friends.”
