Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are fully embracing the Halloween spirit!
The podcaster, 50, and the Nobody Wants This actress, 45, shared photos of their family of four dressed up in punny mash-up character costumes for the holiday.
According to Bell’s Instagram caption, she was dressed as “Carrie Bradshaw Shank Redemption” in a Sex and the City-approved skirt and classic Sarah Jessica Parker curly hairstyle with a prison uniform on top, while Shepard was dressed as “Ferrariana Grande” in a Ferrari racecar driver’s outfit and long brunette ponytail.
Although she didn’t share her kids’ outfit titles, the couple’s two daughters, Delta, 10, and Lincoln, 12, revealed their looks in the photo. One could be seen wearing an all-denim outfit with an In-N-Out Burger employee hat, while the other wore a floral-print dress with a pirate-style hat.
“Hon, nobody does it better,” Shepard wrote under his wife’s post.
In his own Instagram post, Shepard detailed how he set up a Halloween hayride for the neighborhood.
He shared how he built a trailer with hay bale seats and string lights, and hooked it up to his car, pulling his kids and other friends around the neighborhood to look at all of the Halloween costumes.

“Ferrari-ana Grande had the time of her life towing the neighbors around on the Greatest Night of The Year,” Shepard captioned the post. “Thanks to my Brother for documenting my favorite three hours of the 2025. 🎃🎃🎃🎃.”
Last year, the family of four enlisted some help from actress Anna Kendrick to complete their family Halloween costumes.
The couple, who have been married since 2013, used the holiday to dress up themselves and their daughters alongside Kendrick, 40, as characters from the 2004 hit film Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Bell shared photos of the group costume on Instagram, writing: “Ladies and Gentlemen the Channel 4 news Team! 🎃👻💀And thank you to everybody’s favorite neighborhood gear head for the most epic hayride!!! (@daxshepard).”
In the photos, Bell was dressed as news anchor Ron Burgundy (portrayed by Will Ferrell), and her husband wore an outfit resembling that of David Koechner’s character, Champ Kind.
Kendrick was dressed like Christina Applegate’s character, Veronica Corningstone. Lincoln and Delta were dressed as Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell).

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Bell opened up about the “peaceful” summer she spent on the lake with her husband and their two daughters.
“We went to Tennessee for the summer and stayed on the lake,” she began, before joking, “And my children are lake rats. They were in every morning, they were jumping in and getting way too close to the turtles and collecting frogs.”

Bell also noted that the change of pace from their home base in L.A. to lake life in the Nashville area felt “very peaceful” for her family.
“I think it’s really healthy for me and my family to burst our bubble often and get outside of the city of Los Angeles, as much as we love it, and just see the rest of the world,” she told PEOPLE.
She added that because their family was having such a great time together at the lake, she often forgot to take photos during their fun-filled getaway, “which I think is the best way to really judge if your travel is filling up your soul, is if you’re not taking pictures, because I was just there and present.”
