Kourtney Kardashian Barker is taking her love of Halloween to another level with a spooky surprise for her husband, Travis Barker!
In a series of clips posted to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Oct. 7, Kourtney, 46, revealed how she surprised Travis, 49, with a scare zone set up at their home after they returned from watching horror film Black Phone 2 at the movies.
Kourtney’s first post showed a photo of a movie theater and the film on the screen with the caption, “took my husband to the movies @blackphonemovie.”
The Kardashians star then shared how Universal Studios transformed the outside of their Calif. home into a spooky scene complete with a blood-covered scare actor, phone box and eerie smoke.
“Had to have a scary setup when we got home from the theatre @unistudios went crazy,” Kourtney wrote as Travis’ car pulled up outside, adding in the following slide, “of course I didn’t tell @travisbarker in advance.”

In the clips, the scare actor, who appeared to be playing the film’s main character Finn, could be heard shouting, “Get out of the car. Come on, please, he’s coming. Answer the phone!”
As Travis tried to continue driving, Kourtney could be heard saying behind the camera as she filmed the surprise, “Say, ‘Go answer the phone.’ ”
Someone could then be seen running up to Travis’ car window as he rolled it down and Kourtney approached the car.
“Go answer the phone!” Kourtney said as Travis laughed and told the camera, “Oh my God! You gotta let me out of the car.”

Travis’ 21-year-old son Landon Barker appeared to also be filming the surprise as his dad approached the creepy phone box, which played clips from the movie inside, and finally answered the phone.
“love surprising @travisbarker,” Kourtney captioned the clip.
The following clips showed Kourtney and Travis making their way through the scare setup, which included characters dressed up as the film’s antagonist The Grabber in the character’s terrifying mask, along with a van filled with missing posters for members of Kourtney family as a scare actor appeared to pull a body bag out of it,

A sequel to 2021’s The Black Phone, the new movie is set four years after the events of The Black Phone, in which lead character Finn (Mason Thames) is kidnapped by Ethan Hawke’s The Grabber and ultimately communicates with the serial killer’s past victims in order to escape.
According to an official synopsis for the movie, The Grabber now “seeks vengeance on Finn from beyond the grave” by menacing Finn’s younger sister, Gwen (Madeleine McGraw.)
Kourtney is no stranger to sharing her love of Halloween. She and Blink-182 drummer Travis dress up every year for the holiday and share their couple costumes on Instagram. Their previous looks include Morticia and Gomez Addams and characters from Beetlejuice and The Bride of Chucky.
Meanwhile, back in 2021, Kourtney declared herself the “Queen of Halloween” as she showed off her spooky decorations in a series of snaps on Instagram.
