NEED TO KNOW
Kevin James and Christina Ricci team up to fight for their family in their new action movie.
PEOPLE has the exclusive first trailer for Guns Up, in which James, 60, and Ricci, 45, play a married couple forced to face off against organized crime themselves after James’ character Ray Hayes tries to quit life as a mob enforcer.
In the trailer, Ray, a former cop turned mob employee, and his wife Audrey (Ricci) discuss opening a diner together in order to provide for their children, which would allow Ray to exit his violent line of work. When his new boss hears Ray wants to stop working for the mob, he threatens Ray’s life — and Ray’s wife and children are brought in to the chaotic battle.
“A family man moonlighting as a henchman for the mob has one night to get his family out of the city and keep his dark secret hidden after a job goes horribly wrong,” teases a synopsis.
