Kesha and Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears are having a kiki!
The “Joyride” pop star, 38, headlined the Mighty Hoopla festival at London’s Brockwell Park on Sunday, June 1 and brought out Shears, 46, as a surprise guest for a joint performance of Kesha’s 2011 hit “We R Who We R” mashed up with Scissor Sisters’ 2012 classic “Let’s Have a Kiki.”
Sporting a “Protect the Dolls” t-shirt in support of the transgender community, Kesha was joined by Shears to sing lyrics from “Let’s Have a Kiki” over the instrumental of “We R Who We R.” Then, they duetted the chart-topping Cannibal single — while surrounded by drag queens from the U.K.-based LGBTQ+ collective Sink the Pink.
The moment came toward the end of Kesha’s set, right after she performed an emotional version of 2017’s “Praying” with the Trans Voices Choir.
