Katy Perry is spending some much-needed downtime in style.
Since May, the singer and former American Idol judge, 40, has been all over the world on The Lifetimes Tour, but now she’s kicking back, relaxing and putting her summer wardrobe to use before resuming her schedule with a concert in Tampa on Aug. 22.
On Aug. 21, the “Teenage Dream” singer was photographed in Florida taking a dip in the ocean and embracing her toned figure in a chic black and white bikini. The swimsuit was classic in style, but featured stylish details, such as the buckle accents on her bottoms.

The mom of one kept the rest of her appearance pretty lowkey, rocking what looked to be a makeup-free face with her hair down.

Perry has been touring amid many big moments happening in her life. In June, PEOPLE confirmed her split from Orlando Bloom, to whom she got engaged in 2019. TMZ was the first to report the separation.
Shortly after, a source told PEOPLE that the now-exes are prioritizing their daughter Daisy, 4, by wanting to “keep a friendly relationship.”
“At a certain point, they had to admit it’s better for Daisy to see their parents separately, then she won’t grow up feeling the tension and animosity,” the insider said.
On July 9, the Lord of the Rings actor shared Instagram photos of their family reuniting, alongside Bloom’s 14-year-old son, Flynn, whom he shares with ex Miranda Kerr, for a summer boat outing.

This summer, Perry also sparked dating rumors with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, after the two stepped out for a meal together in Montréal on July 28. PEOPLE confirmed the two dined at Le Violon, where they had a “fantastic evening,” according to a rep for the neighborhood establishment. Trudeau was later seen attending Perry’s concert on July 30.
Perry isn’t “looking to date now,” shared a source, adding, “She’s still in the middle of a tour; she’s a single mom and navigating some major personal changes.” Perry additionally spent some solo time at Paris Fashion Week, attending the Balenciaga couture show in a leggy minidress.
