Katherine Schwarzenegger is making the most of the last few weeks of summer!
On Friday, Aug. 22, the best-selling author, 35, shared several photos on Instagram of her family enjoying themselves at sea. The first snap showed Katherine on a boat alongside her uncle, Anthony Shriver, her mom, Maria Shriver, and Anthony’s son.
She opted to wear a black vest top and leggings with an oversized blue shirt for a casual look, complete with sunglasses and her hair styled in a messy braid.
Another photo captured the moment her husband, Chris Pratt, was swimming in the water with one of their daughters. He looked in good spirits in a follow-up snap of him sitting alongside his mother-in-law, Maria, with a towel around his waist after getting into the boat.
Katherine — who shares daughters Lyla, 5, and Eloise, 3, and son Ford, 9 months, with Pratt, 46 — opted not to show her children’s faces in the photographs. However, she included a snap of their names inked onto a wall to mark the memories they made that day.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor is also dad to son Jack, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris, 48.
Katherine’s brother, Chris Schwarzenegger, was featured in her collection of photos after a candid snap of him on the boat was taken. They were not the only people making the most of the sunny weather that day, as she included a snap of several other boats in the water.
“A perfect day ☀️🌊,” Katherine captioned the Instagram post.

Earlier that day, she had shared a photo on Instagram Stories of her wearing a shell necklace made by Lyla and revealed she had gone on a morning walk. The author described the area where the family was as “picturesque.”
She also tagged Pratt in a clip of him and a few others messing around on an ocean buoy while admitting the antics terrified her.
The series of images came less than a week after Katherine shared an Instagram post from the Shrivers and Kennedys reuniting.
One snap showed her and mom Maria alongside her younger sister, Christina, posing in front of an American flag, while another showed Pratt walking with one of their daughters on his shoulders.
“Family time back east 🦞🐚🥞🌊☀️🍒,” she captioned the Aug. 20 snaps.
