Katharine McPhee Foster is getting ready to fight some crime with her little one.
On Wednesday, June 25, the singer and actress, 41, shared a video on her Instagram of herself and her son Rennie, 4, who can be seen sitting on the stairs in his house and wearing a full Spider-Man costume — including boots, gloves and a full-face mask.
Sitting opposite her son, McPhee Foster leans over and asks, “Spider-Man! Is it you, the real Spider-Man?”
Rennie can be seen shaking his head yes as he looks through the mask at his mom.

“I have been waiting my whole life to meet you,” McPhee Foster says, reaching out to shake hands with her Spider-Man son.
“Can I have a hug?” she asks, rubbing noses with her son. “Should we go fight bad guys? Can I help you, or do you work alone?”
Her son looks at her before responding. “No. Cause you do not have a Spider suit. You have to have a helmet and a spacesuit to help me fight everybody.”
McPhee Foster asks if she should go buy one on Amazon so she can join in on the crime-fighting.
“No. We have grown up ones here,” Rennie says. “Oh. We have grown up ones? Okay.” McPhee Foster says as the video ends.
McPhee Foster shares her son with husband David Foster. Last year, the proud mom shared that her son was starting to take an interest in playing the drums. However, she later spoke with PEOPLE on the red carpet for the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards and shared that her son is no longer interested — much to her husband’s disappointment.
“If you’ve noticed, we’ve kind of stopped posting so many videos. He’s not as interested as he was,” McPhee Foster lamented. “We were never making him play. We were never demanding that he play. But he’s just sort of lost interest.”
“He’s very much into me. Obviously, I’ll take it ‘cause I love it, but he’s really into everything Mommy,” she continued. “Just being active and running and playing with his toys and things like that, so he’s just taken a little hiatus. My husband’s devastated about it.”
