Kate Middleton’s most recent outfit appeared to include a nod to Prince William.
As she attended Wimbledon on Saturday, July 12, the Princess of Wales, 43, seemingly wore the Cartier Balloon Bleu stainless steel watch that was given to her by William, also 43, during a royal trip to Australia in 2014.
The luxury piece is from the medium-sized Ballon Bleu de Cartier collection, and it is designed with a traditional steel band and round case with a Swiss quartz movement, according to Forbes.

Princess Kate arrived for the thirteenth day of the Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London to a standing ovation.
In a video shared on X by Wimbledon, the crowd could be seen getting on their feet to applaud the royal as she made her way to her seat in the front row of the Royal Box. Kate was emotional as she took in the reaction.
The Princess of Wales is an avid tennis-lover and has attended Wimbledon almost every year since marrying Prince William in 2011. (The future King did not join Kate for the event on July 12.)
For the daytime outing, Kate wore a summery look of a light yellow structured top with short sleeves, as well as a belt and a matching pleated midi skirt by Self-Portrait, per Vogue. She paired her look with an Anya Hindmarch tote and beige Gianvito Rossi Ribbon slingback pumps.
Princess Kate also accessorized her look with the purple and green bow tie pin that represents her patron role of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Kate inherited the patronage from Queen Elizabeth in 2016.
Kate’s appearance at Wimbledon took place after Prince William competed in the annual Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup at Guards Polo Club outside Windsor Castle on Friday, July 11.
It also took place almost six months after she revealed she was in remission after undergoing treatment for cancer. (The royal announced her diagnosis in March 2024.)
