Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are teaming up to fight evil in Coyotes.
The real-life couple lead a newly released trailer for the upcoming horror-comedy from director Colin Minihan, marking their second onscreen horror collaboration after 2022’s House of Darkness.
“Trapped in their Hollywood Hills home, a family must fight for survival as a pack of savage coyotes closes in,” reads an official synopsis.
Aside from Long, 47, and Bosworth, 42, Coyotes stars Katherine McNamara, Brittany Allen, Mila Harris and Norbert Leo Butz.

In the trailer, Long’s character goes outside to investigate as a pack of wild coyotes descends upon their home — and while at first he isn’t worried, the animals soon begin to wreak havoc.
“They want your shelter, your food, your water, your sanity,” Butz’s character tells them.
In one of the final scenes, Bosworth’s character, armed with a fire extinguisher, has her own wild look in her eyes as she points it toward one of the coyotes attacking Long’s character.
“Get the f— off my husband!” she screams before pulling the trigger.

Bosworth and Long first sparked relationship rumors in March 2022 after they were spotted together in Los Angeles. They wed in May 2023, about two months after sources confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE.
The couple have been open about their affection for one another both on and offscreen on social media — like when Long gave Bosworth a shout-out on Instagram after working on press for his hit 2022 horror flick Barbarian, calling her his “#1 my favorite acting coach + scene partner who ran lines with me and helped me feel so prepared for such a fun but demanding role.”
Long told PEOPLE back in October 2022 that he and Bosworth, who also had a voice cameo in Barbarian, had been celebrating the Halloween season with scary movies.
“We’ve been doing a horror movie every night for October, leading up to Halloween,” he said. “So we’ve done Don’t Look Now and The Exorcist and classics.”
Added the actor, “We just love horror. It’s really limitless, what you can do with that genre. I think that’s what we really have been enjoying about it.”
Coyotes, from Aura Entertainment, is in theaters Oct. 3.
