Kandi Burruss has received the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 49, accepted her award at The Bravos on Friday, Nov. 14, during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.
Burruss was being recognized for her run on the reality show, the other programming she had on the network (Kandi & the Gang, Xscape: Still Kickin’ It, Kandi Koated Nights, The Kandi Factory), as well as her career outside The Real Housewives franchise. She is a two-time Broadway producer, actress, singer, Grammy-winning songwriter and host of The Burruss Banter podcast.
“I am filled with like all kind of like tingly, you know tingly senses going on because I’m excited,” she said in an interview with Bravo after receiving the honor.
“It was a wonderful feeling to accept the award with my daughter standing right next to me. And all the fans were showing so much love. And even the — all of our Bravo family, everybody was showing love and I really appreciate it. It made me feel good. I’m so thankful to be the Wifetime Achievement Award recipient.”

She commented on the video clip of her interview: “I’m on cloud 9 right now! ❤️”
Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen announced the big news in July alongside Burruss and her daughter, Riley Burruss. “Kandi, congratulations! I’m so happy that we got to really honor you in a really great way at The Bravos this year,” Cohen said when they were guests on his talk show Watch What Happens Live.
Clearly surprised by the news, Burruss replied, “I was like, ‘Wait a minute, y’all picking me? What?’”
“I really do appreciate it. I feel like I put a lot of time [in],” she added.
Burruss joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta during its second season in 2009 and remained a cast member for 14 consecutive seasons, departing the show in 2023. Burruss’ lengthy run on the show makes her the longest-serving housewife in the franchise’s history.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Entertainment Community Fund Gala in New York City in May, Burruss shared her thoughts on potentially returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “I’m just not there at this moment in my life,” she said. “I’m doing what I really love. But I’m supporting from afar.”
Though she may not be returning to TV, the award-winning singer will make her comeback to Broadway. Burruss is set to join the cast of the hit musical & Juliet in December. She will play the role of Angélique, Juliet’s nurse, for a limited run at New York City’s Stephen Sondheim Theatre from Dec. 11 through March 8, 2026.
BravoCon 2025 continues through Sunday, Nov. 16 at Las Vegas’ Caesars Forum.
